Match Preview
Fenton doubtful for promotion clash Rotherham caretaker boss Andy Liddell has a doubt over defender Nick Fenton ahead of the home clash against promotion rivals Shrewsbury. The 31-year-old was withdrawn after 45 minutes of Friday night's 6-0 thumping of Lincoln with a leg injury and will be handed a late fitness test. However, skipper Ryan Cresswell is now fully fit following a long lay-off with a broken collarbone and is ready to step into the starting line-up if needed. Liddell has no other injury or suspension problems to worry about but has options available if he chooses to shuffle his pack. On-loan duo Mark Randall and Callum Kennedy are both pushing for a return to the matchday squad after being left out against the Imps. Top-goalscorer Adam Le Fondre, Jason Taylor, Omar Daley and Liam Henderson are also available for recalls. Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner has Niall Canavan available. The on-loan Scunthorpe United centre-back missed the 2-1 win over Bradford on Saturday as he was on duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad, but will be back to take on the Millers and could be in-line for his debut. Defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff picked up a slight calf problem against the Bantams but is expected to be fit. Striker Tom Bradshaw is pushing for a start after he netted both Town's goals at the weekend after coming on as a 74th minute substitute. However, Turner has hinted he may use the 18-year-old as an impact player again to benefit from the opposition's tiring defences. Defender Jermaine Grandison remains unavailable as he completes the three-match ban for the straight red card he received during the 5-0 defeat to Torquay earlier this month.

Match Report
Shrews looking up after Millers win Shrewsbury moved into the automatic places and dented Rotherham`s play-off bid in the process with a convincing 3-1 win at Millmoor. The visitors took a deserved lead after 19 minutes when Luke Ashworth was beaten to the ball by James Collins and with Ashworth grounded, Collins steered the ball into the net. But four minutes before the break everyone in the ground except referee David Phillips saw Mark Wright flick the ball on with his hand. Everyone stopped, but the whistle never came and the only way Ashworth could stop Collins from scoring was to bring him down - and to everyone's disbelief the referee pointed to the penalty spot from where Nicky Wroe made no mistake. Things could have been different but for a great save from Ben Smith after 15 minutes. Home goalkeeper Andy Warrington cleared, Ian Thomas-Moore headed on for Ryan Taylor but Smith was off his line in a flash to block with his legs. And things went from bad to worse for the home side three minutes after the break. There appeared to be no danger as Warrington came to the edge of his area to clear downfield, but his clearance smashed into Tom Bradshaw and rebounded to a completely unmarked Collins on the penalty spot who simply could not miss. Substitute Adam Le Fondre's goal for Rotherham - a well-taken 12-yard effort after good work from Omar Daley after 68 minutes - was scant reward.
