Will in for Millers
Rotherham are set to hand a debut to Will Atkinson when Aldershot visit Don Valley.
The Hull winger joined on loan until January a fortnight ago, but with the Millers out of action since November 23, he has yet to make an appearance.
West Brom defender Paul Downing also joined on deadline day and he too will be hoping to be involved in Ronnie Moore's plans.
Skipper Ryan Cresswell has been a beneficiary of the Millers' enforced break as he has recovered from a back injury and is set to lead the side again, while experienced keeper Andy Warrington will also return after missing the last three games due to personal reasons.
Dale Tonge, who has not made an appearance since March, has returned to training following a foot injury, but without any reserve games under his belt he will not be considered.
The Millers have fond recent memories of hosting Aldershot as they secured a 2-0 win in last season's play-off semi-final second leg which earned a spot in the Wembley final.
Aldershot could have captain Anthony Charles back for the trip.
Defender Charles has not featured since suffering a hamstring injury against Brentford in November but is back in light training and could travel up the M1 for a repeat of last season`s play-off semi-final.
Manager Kevin Dillon said: "Having a game postponed last week has been beneficial for Anthony Charles because he is back training with us now.
"But we have to closely monitor his situation because we cannot afford for him to return too soon and he certainly needs a game so we can assess him."
Striker Damian Spencer will visit a specialist later this month as he continues his recovery from a knee injury so is out, while John Halls is also unavailable.
The former Reading man - who has been made available for transfer along with Manny Panther - is struggling with a groin problem.
Le Fondre shoots down Shots
Rotherham finally got back to winning ways at home with a 1-0 victory over Aldershot.
After a shaky start, Rotherham just about deserved their half-time lead - but they were aided by Aldershot's third penalty miss of the season.
Ben Harding brought a great save out of Rotherham goalkeeper Andy Warrington after just six minutes, but Aldershot were awarded a very dubious penalty for Tom Newey's challenge on Ben Herd with 29 minutes gone.
Wade Small's shot sent Warrington the wrong way but the ball hit the upright and rebounded to safety.
All the Rotherham threat was coming down the right through Marcus Marshall and he set up chances for Johnny Mullins, Ryan Taylor and Adam Le Fondre before Rotherham did find the net in the 40th minute.
Marshall's cross went right across the six-yard box to Le Fondre who slammed his 17th goal of the season into the roof of the net.
Seven minutes after the break Jamie Young saved Aldershot with two magnificent saves in less than a minute, the first from Nick Fenton and the second from Ryan Cresswell's shot.
Aldershot tried to up the tempo when Rotherham lost skipper Cresswell to injury after 65 minutes, but their challenge ended when Jamie Vincent was sent off three minutes from time for his second yellow card - both for fouls on Marshall.
