Scott won't meddle with Millers
Rotherham manager Andy Scott could name an unchanged side when Accrington visit Don Valley in npower League Two.
The Millers ended a three-game losing streak by putting in one of their best performances of the season in the 2-0 win at Southend on Friday night and Scott looks set to keep faith with the same side.
That means 15-goal top scorer Lewis Grabban will remain on the bench after he was omitted at Roots Hall, with Scott favouring new signing Shaun Harrad and Alex Revell, who both bagged, in attack.
Defender Michael Raynes returns from a one-match ban but he is unlikely to displace Johnny Mullins or Richard Naylor at the back so he will battle it out with Ryan Cresswell for a place on the bench.
Gareth Evans (thigh), Luke Foster and Jamie Annerson (both knee) are the only players occupying the treatment room for the game which will definitely go ahead after the recent cold snap.
Will Hatfield is in line to make his second Accrington debut.
The midfielder, who enjoyed a loan spell at the Crown Ground from Leeds earlier in the season, joined Stanley on a permanent basis last week following his release by the Championship side.
The Reds defence will be bolstered by the return of Tom Bender from a hamstring problem, but Sean Hessey remains sidelined with a similar complaint.
Aristote Nsiala is set to play the final game of his loan spell from Everton, but Press Association Sport understands Accrington are in discussions with the Barclays Premier League side over extending the 19-year-old's stay beyond his four appearances to date.
Alan Burton has returned to light training as he steps up his recovery from a double hernia operation.
Reports in the Lancashire Telegraph suggest Stanley could have a new manager in place ahead of the game, with Sligo Rovers boss Paul Cook tipped to succeed John Coleman despite a statement released by the Irish club over the weekend claiming the 44-year-old would stay with them.
Millers on the march
Rotherham beat Accrington 1-0 to record their second win in five days and maintain their hopes of an npower League Two play-off place.
Most of the first half action came from the home side, who probably considered themselves unfortunate to be only a goal up at the break - and that came from the penalty spot.
After seven minutes Alex Revell headed a good chance wide, Sam Wood had an effort bravely blocked by Danny Coid and Ian Dunbavin made two saves in quick succession to deny Kieron Cadogan and then Wood on the follow up.
But when Mark Bradley broke into the box after 27 minutes he was halted by a lunging tackle from Accrington midfielder Bryan Hughes. Shaun Harrad stepped up to net his second goal in as many games since joining the Millers on loan from Bury.
Stanley could have had an equaliser from their first corner after 53 minutes, but Coid skied his shot high over the bar.
Harrad should have had a second for Rotherham after 65 minutes with a free header from Cadogan's cross but Dunbavin saved with his feet.
