Full squad for Adams
Ross County manager Derek Adams has a full squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Motherwell.
Midfielder Iain Vigurs returns from suspension for the visit of the Steelmen.
Ivan Sproule returned from a hamstring injury against St Johnstone last week to net his fourth goal in four games since joining from Hibernian.
Adams admits he reverted to a more solid approach after realising his players were not suited to an expansive game.
County have reaped the rewards for their change in tactics, keeping three clean sheets in four games and going unbeaten in seven matches to go into Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Motherwell just five points off the second-placed visitors.
County kept five clean sheets in their first six matches but Adams felt they opened up too much in the middle part of the season.
Their games with their weekend opponents further highlight the trend - County held Motherwell to a goalless draw on their SPL debut and lost 3-2 at Fir Park in December.
"Probably midway through the season we went to try to win a few matches and opened up a bit, and it didn't really suit us," Adams said.
"We have got back to what we are good at - being solid, playing on the counter-attack and keeping good possession in the middle of the park.
"We looked at it and looked at the players we have got, and they are suited to a system. I think the signings over the transfer window have helped us as well."
Motherwell have a couple of injury doubts for the game, including left-back Stevie Hammell (ankle).
However, captain Keith Lasley and defender Fraser Kerr are both available following suspension.
James McFadden is again set to start on the bench after making his return to the club against Dundee United on Tuesday.
McFadden has noticed a "phenomenal" difference in Motherwell as he looks to fire the club to a second-place finish.
McFadden came into the Motherwell team as a teenager just before the club went into administration and subsequently found himself the talisman of a team that battled against relegation.
Motherwell finished bottom of the Scottish Premier League in 2003, avoiding relegation because Falkirk did not have a compliant stadium, just before McFadden departed for Everton in a #1.25million deal that helped the club emerge from administration.
And he is keen to help Stuart McCall`s team continue their progress since then by keeping them riding high.
The 29-year-old said: "The difference has been phenomenal. Obviously I was here when the club went into administration.
"I don`t think anyone thought it at the time but it was probably the best thing that happened to the club because they managed to get a bit of stability after that and build on it year after year.
"Obviously the current manager has done an excellent job but I think every manager that`s been in has done pretty well since I left."
