Rovers aiming to keep run going
Raith Rovers may have slipped to second place in the table, but they are determined to keep their unbeaten start in the league going in their contest with Falkirk.
Manager John McGlynn does have a number of injury concerns to contend with following their midweek trip to Aberdeen on Co-operative Insurance Cup duty, though.
Defenders Laurie Ellis and Willie Dyer are both struggling and, with Mark Campbell, Dougie Hill and Scott McBride all still out, the Kirkcaldy resources are being tightly stretched.
McGlynn said: "We have a few other guys with bumps and bruises following our fine performance at Pittodrie. Whatever side we put out we will look to keep the unbeaten run going at least."
Victory would see Falkirk move about their hosts, but they will be depleted after recent signing Tam McManus picked up a medial knee ligament injury, which will keep him out for five months, during their Co-operative Insurance Cup success against Hearts in midweek.
The Bairns have also ruled out youngster Keiran Duffie as he is away to Estonia on Scotland U19 duty, but manager Steven Pressley is confident they can pick up another win.
"This is another big game for us in the First Division and we are really looking forward to it," he said. "Everyone was excited by Tuesday night, but the focus is now back on the league and we are going there for a win. Moving into second place would end a good week for us results wise."

Dyer made it 2-1 with 12 minutes left with a stunning strike from 35 yards before Falkirk could have snatched a point late on but Marc Twaddle headed wide and Brian McLean shot straight at McGurn.
