Match Preview
Raith captain Iain Davidson is available to face Dunfermline. Davidson can finally start his league season after serving a two-game suspension. Injured defender Mark Campbell is therefore the only absentee for the table-topping Fife derby. Kirkcaldy boss John McGlynn said: "You cannot beat winning football games to increase your confidence and we will go into this game feeling good about ourselves after our two wins so far. "We will be out to keep it going and what was a huge game already now has the added attraction of being a top of the table clash. "Last year there were over 6,000 fans at one of these games I would hope that we can top that figure." Dunfermline will hand a late fitness check to David Graham. If the winger gets over the strained muscle that cut short his involvement in training on Friday, the Pars will be at full strength. Summer signing Alex Keddie is free of suspension and Stephen Bell and Alex Burke are fit again. East End park assistant manager Gerry McCabe said: "It will be touch and go with David and we hope he makes it as he is a big player for us. "We will need everyone available for this one as it will be a hard game between two local rivals in front of a big crowd. With both sides having made a good start in the league it should be a cracking game."

Match Report
Quick goals earn Raith win Two goals in five second-half minutes from Iain Davidson and Laurence Ellis secured a 2-0 win for Raith over Dunfermline at Stark's Park. In an even first half, the best chances fell to Ellis, who should have done better from six yards, screwing his shot wide, before Athletic then went close when Willie Gibson headed over from 12 yards. Rovers had a great opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot in the 50th minute after Dunfermline goalkeeper Chris Smith fouled John Baird, but Smith brilliantly saved Baird's spot-kick. Nick Phinn then hit the crossbar for the visitors before Davidson tapped home after 73 minutes to give Raith the lead. Ellis wrapped up the game 12 minutes from time, finishing from close range.
