Match Preview

Trio missing for Rovers Raith are again without three injured players as they look to defeat Falkirk for a second time this season at Stark's Park. Dougie Hill, Scott McBride and Brian Graham all miss out for Rovers. Kirkcaldy boss John McGlynn said: "We won 1-0 on the opening day of the league season and a repeat of that scoreline or anyone that gets us a win would be very welcome. "My hat goes off to what Steven Pressley and his team have done since then but we want be standing back and congratulating them as we have our own motivation for winning. "We were disappointed at not winning all 3 points at Morton last weekend but if we put on a similar performance in this game then we will do well." Falkirk welcome back midfielder Jay Fulton to their squad following an ankle injury. Everyone else in manager Steven Pressley's squad is available apart from youngster Ryan Miller who has picked up a knock on his ankle. The Bairns are looking to keep the pressure on leaders Ross County by picking up three points at Stark's Park, but technical director Alex Smith knows that nothing but the best from his side will do. Smith said: "Raith Rovers are a really well organised side full of fit players who work for everything so this will be a really tough game. "We should have defeated Ayr last week but we never got a break but hopefully we will get one in this game."

Match Report

Bairns fight back for point Falkirk staged an impressive comeback as they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Raith. The hosts took the lead in the 27th minute when defender Grant Murray drilled the ball past Falkirk goalkeeper Michael McGovern from the edge of the penalty area. Striker John Baird doubled their advantage six minutes later when he headed Joe Hamill's cross into the top-right corner of the net. The visitors halved the deficit in the 36th minute through striker Farid El Alagui, who buried his header low into the goal from Kallum Higginbotham's cross. And Darren Dods rescued an unlikely point in the 63rd minute as the defender met Mark Millar's cross and sent a powerful header past David McGurn.
