Match Preview

Spiders doubt over seven Queen's Park entertain Stranraer with Darryl Meggat, Jamie Longworth and David Murray all struggling with knocks and Jamie Brough, Steven Baillie, Paul Harkins and Michael O'Hara ruled out. Striker Graeme Eaglesham is included as the Spiders go looking for the eleventh win in twelve games that will see them jump over the Blues and into second place in the table. Boss Gardner Speirs said: "We want to win this game to add to the momentum we have built up but this will be really tough as we could be missing a few influential players. "Stranraer will be determined to hit back after losing their last couple of games and our record against them is not the best but we have the chance to change that." Stranraer are missing midfielder Steven Noble and striker Michael Moore through injury. The Blues have lost their last two games to slip from top spot and Stair Park manager Keith Knox is out to ensure his men do not slip any further. Knox said: "We have to bounce back and bounce back quickly from our last couple of results. We need to treat this game as a Cup Final as winning would send us back up the way again." "We were the last team to beat Queen's Park before they went on their great run and hopefully we will be the next team to beat them as well. "There is no reason why we shouldn't as on our day we are as good as any team in this league."
