Little big doubt for Queen's
Queen's Park defender Ricky Little is a major doubt for his side's home match with Stirling Albion after being laid low with a bout of tonsillitis.
Midfield dynamo David Anderson remains out due to a knee problem, however there is better news for head coach Gardner Speirs as both goalkeeper Neil Parry and centre-back Jamie Brough are available after suspension.
The Spiders are looking to win in the league for the first time in six games, however, Speirs is telling his men that they will be facing determined opponents.
He said: "Stirling will be looking to prove they are in a false position and will battle for everything. We need to match that and impose our passing game on them."
Stirling are without six players as they look to win in the Third Division for the first time since they beat Rangers nearly seven weeks ago.
Gary Thom is suspended, Daly McSorley has an illness while Kieran McAnespie, Danny Ashe, Jamie Clark and David McClune are injured.
Ross McGeachie is a doubt due to a foot injury, but on a positive note goalkeeper Sam Filler is available after a ban.
Player-manager Greig McDonald looks set to make a rare appearance and loan signing from Forfar Jamie Bishop is in line for a debut.
McDonald said: "There is no point in complaining we will just get on with things and look to get our season kick-started with a win."
