Match Preview
Speirs facing selection headache Queen's Park are looking to bounce back after three defeats in a row against leaders Berwick, but will be without five players. Defender Paul McGinn, midfielders Giuseppe Capuano and David Anderson, forward Michael Daly and utility man Jack Henry are unavailable to leave Hampden boss Gardner Speirs with few resources at his disposal "Whatever side we put out we have to ensure we take our chances and defend better," he said. "We missed three great opportunities at Albion Rovers last weekend and conceded two soft goals. "That is a recipe for getting beat and we need to do better against a Berwick side that are on a good run just now." Berwick arrive in Glasgow to face with fit again goalkeeper Mark Peat taking over between the posts from experienced custodian Ian McAldon. Player/coach Ian Little is also available after a knock. Stuart Callaghan remains out with a fractured ankle and wide man Fraser McLaren has joined him on the sidelines due to a hamstring problem. Berwick boss Jimmy Crease is determined to see his side hang on to top spot. "We worked really hard against Clyde last week to get a fine 4-1 win and we will need to do the same again at Hampden," he said. "Some of our passing play last Saturday was excellent and more of the same would be great against a Queen's Park side that will be wanting to ensure we do not open up a gap on them."

Match Report
Rangers remain unbeaten Berwick maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-0 victory at Queens Park. The visitors took the lead in the 28th minute through Darren Gribben's penalty after a foul in the box by Queens Park goalkeeper Adam Strain on Gribben himself. Gribben had a hand in the second goal as well, providing a pass for Chris O'Reilly who slotted a right-footed shot past Strain from 12 yards. O'Reilly could have doubled his tally three minutes later but his header from six yards cleared the crossbar. Queens Park could have got a goal back in the 79th minute through David Murray's left-footed volley from 20 yards but his effort rattled the crossbar.
