Same again for Spiders Queen's Park will name the same squad beaten 2-1 by Peterhead last week when they host leaders Alloa. The Spiders will again be missing Jamie Brough and Paul Stewart through work commitments, while winger David Murray has a hamstring problem. Head coach Gardner Speirs said: "Alloa are going great just now and they have good players playing with a lot of confidence so this will be a tough game. "Last week against Peterhead we played really well for the first 50 minutes or so of the game and then got pushed out. "We know where we went wrong and where Peterhead went right and look forward to putting it into practice." Alloa centre-back Ben Gordon has recovered from a head injury in time for the match. Midfielder Ryan McCord is also available after a two-game ban. Boss Paul Hartley said: "I have the nice headache of having a fully-fit squad to choose from which is fantastic at this stage of the season. "Queen's Park are a good team and one I have seen a lot of in the last couple of seasons. They have good young players who like to pass the ball in a similar manner to us so it should be a very good game of football."

Cawley fires Alloa to points Kevin Cawley bagged his ninth goal of the season as Alloa maintained their charge for the Third Division title with a 2-1 win at Queens Park. Alloa's centre-back Ben Gordon showed his head injury from last weekend had left no ill-effects as he rose highest in the 25th minute to meet a floated free-kick from Mark Docherty, only to see his effort just go wide. Queens Park were desperate to keep their spot in the play-offs but could not hold the ball and paid the price in the 29th minute, when Cawley hit a blistering 18-yard strike. Things went from bad to worse for the Spiders, when Richard Little diverted the ball into his own net after 41 minutes. A rare attack in the 85th minute saw Queens Park substitute Michael Daly neatly finish but it proved only a consolation.
