No change for Spiders
Queen's Park have an unchanged squad for the crunch clash with fellow promotion chasers Albion Rovers.
Jamie Brough, Steven Baillie, David Murray, Michael O'Hara and Paul Harkins all remain out injured.
The Spiders qualified for the play-offs last season with a 51-point total and a win over the Coatbridge men would take them past that figure.
Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said: "That is just another reason for wanting to win this game. They are always close games between us and Rovers have done well this season with their manager Paul Martin getting the best out of a good squad of players.
"I will gladly accept a 1-0, last-minute, lucky deflected winner in this one to get us even closer to the chasing pack."
Second-placed Albion Rovers will be without the banned Peter Innes for the trip.
The Coatbridge side also have doubts over Neil McGowan, Steven Canning, Robert Love, Jamie Gilmartin and John Gemmell, but Chris Hamilton has recovered from illness and will feature.
Manager Paul Martin said: "We have to go out and give our all to try and get that win to keep some pressure on Arbroath.
"A draw gets us our first ever play-off place but I want us to keep our challenge going even longer. We need to win and Queen's Park need to win so it should be a great game for the fans."
Watt a winner for Queens
Ian Watt scored a stoppage-time winner for Queens Park as they came from behind to secure a 2-1 home win over Albion which moves them to within a point of the play-offs.
Rovers took the lead after quarter of an hour when Steven Lawless latched onto Scott Chaplain's pass before converting from inside the penalty area.
The Spiders were level on the half-hour, though, with Daryll Meggatt heading home a Martin McBride corner from close range.
Both sides had good chances before Albion came close to regaining the lead after 66 minutes when a 12-yard effort from Lawless hit a post.
That left Watt to be the hero for Queens Park when he slotted home from inside the box four minutes into injury-time.
