Vale lose Pope
Port Vale boss Micky Adams has a host of absentees for the visit of AFC Wimbledon.
Striker Tom Pope and defender Lee Collins suffered groin and ankle complaints respectively during last week's 3-0 defeat at Southend and the pair join goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson (thigh) and winger Rob Taylor (calf) on the sidelines.
Clayton McDonald is suspended after being sent off for two bookable offences at Roots Hall while Gareth Owen is likely to miss out with a foot injury, which Adams wants to heal completely before letting the defender return.
Top scorer Marc Richards is struggling with an ankle problem and long-term absentees Lewis Haldane (broken leg) and Ryan Burge (knee) are continuing their rehabilitation.
However, Adams should be boosted by the return of full-back Phil Roe from a dead leg and striker Ben Williamson has trained this week despite his knee injury flaring up.
AFC Wimbledon will field a new-look strikeforce of Jason Euell and Byron Harrison.
Veteran frontman Euell has joined on loan from Charlton and will make his second debut for the Dons, having scored 47 goals in 181 games for the old Wimbledon.
He will be joined in attack by Harrison, who arrived on Wednesday for a five-figure fee from Stevenage.
There could also be debuts for young midfielders George Moncur, signed on loan from West Ham, and Billy Knott of Sunderland as boss Terry Brown revamps his squad in a bid to halt their alarming slide down the table.
Striker Christian Jolley is still suspended but winger Luke Moore could return after suffering concussion.
Super-sub Moore adds to Vale woes
Luke Moore came off the bench to net a superb 77th minute winner and give AFC Wimbledon a much-needed 2-1 victory, sending Port Vale to a fourth consecutive defeat.
Jason Euell, on loan from Charlton, was one of four new faces and seven changes as Wimbledon boss Terry Brown attempted to arrest a slide of six straight league defeats.
But Vale were desperate for a result themselves and bossed much of the first-half as Sam Morsy threatened on two occasions before Marc Richards opened the scoring in the 31st minute.
Sean Rigg's step over proved too much for his marker Fraser Franks and the winger's pinpoint cross from the left was met with an unstoppable header by Richards from six yards.
Much of Wimbledon's first-half play was unsurprisingly disjointed, but they equalised out of the blue in the 41st minute.
Sammy Moore whipped over a low cross from the right and Jack Midson forced the ball over the line at the near post despite the attention of two home defenders and Vale goalkeeper Chris Martin.
Substitute Louis Dodds was inches away from putting the hosts back in front when he placed a shot against a post with his first touch in the 73rd minute.
But Wimbledon always carried a threat against a shaky home defence and it was Moore who fired the decider.
Midson pulled the ball back into the path of substitute, who took a touch before driving a 16-yard left-foot shot high inside Martin's right-hand post.
