Fitness boost for Argyle
Plymouth could be handed a triple boost for the clash with Rotherham.
Pilgrims boss Peter Reid hopes to welcome back captain Carl Fletcher, striker Warren Feeney and right-back Durrell Berry after the trio missed the Carling Cup defeat to Millwall.
Fletcher grabbed a last-gasp equaliser in the opening-day fixture with Shrewsbury but missed the Lions` visit with a thigh strain.
Argyle fielded three teenage strikers in the Millwall game but should be able to call on the experience of 30-year-old Feeney, who was ruled out of Northern Ireland's 4-0 win over the Faroe Islands with a groin injury.
"The way it's looking, we will have a couple more players fit for the weekend, which will be a big boost for everyone," Reid said.
Rotherham manager Andy Scott has plenty of options at his disposal.
Goalkeeper Conrad Logan should come back in after he was ineligible for Tuesday's 4-1 Carling Cup defeat against parent-club Leicester while striker Lewis Grabban and Marcus Marshall, who Scott is trying to convert to a right-back, have recovered from knocks that forced them both off at half-time in that clash.
Defender Troy Brown, who also missed the game, will be assessed after he played 90 minutes for Wales Under-21s in midweek and he will be hopeful of replacing Michael Raynes in the starting line-up.
Johnny Mullins, Jamie Annerson and Paul Warne are all struggling with knee injuries and they will not feature for some time.
Scott is not fazed by what he admits is a tricky team selection, and said: "We have got a good squad. If I wanted to make my life easier I would have got 11 really good players and seven or eight not so good ones.
"I put pressure on myself by forming a squad where you have to make tough decisions."
Millers blitz Argyle
Adam Le Fondre and Gareth Evans both scored twice as Rotherham came from a goal down to win 4-1 at Plymouth.
Argyle debutant Will Atkinson, on loan from Hull, fired Peter Reid's side ahead after 49 minutes when he cut in from the left wing and let fly with a superb 20-yard effort.
That goal was soon wiped out at Rotherham`s lively winger - and man of the match - Evans finished off an angled run from the right with a thumping angled shot to level the scores after 52 minutes.
Evans then doubled his tally eight minutes later as he benefited from great work by Le Fondre to fire home.
Le Fondre then got off the mark for this term following good work by tireless Danny Schofield in the 82nd minute.
He doubled his tally five minutes later, pouncing on an easy opportunity to score from close range.
