Peterhead wait on Wyness Peterhead striker Dennis Wyness is set for a late fitness test ahead of the visit of Brechin. The forward is struggling with his troublesome hamstring problem but boss Neale Cooper is hoping that he can feature. Influential defender Bobby Mann is available after not being risked on Alloa's artificial surface last weekend, however Daniel Moore remains out with a groin problem and Paul Emslie is suspended. Cooper said: "We have now gone four games undefeated in the league and the cup, however we have only picked up three points. "It is good that we have tightened up and are not losing games but it is time for us to start winning now and climbing away from the foot of the table." Brechin have been weakened by the loss of two loan players ahead of the trip. Paul Mulrooney has gone back to Hearts and Anthony Bolger has returned to Aberdeen at the end of their loan spells. On-loan Hibs centre back Ewan Moyes is struggling with an ankle knock with fellow defender Davie White a doubt because of a calf problem with Charlie King also out. Brechin boss Jim Weir said: "Peterhead will have benefited from 90 minutes last week. "They gave Alloa a real hard time of things and they also have home advantage in this game which makes it all the more trickier as their record at Balmoor is good."

McAllister hits four in Brechin romp Rory McAllister scored four goals as Brechin romped to a 5-0 win at Peterhead. The forward opened the scoring after just six minutes with a stunning strike, smashing a shot into the top corner from inside the area after good work from Callum Booth. He doubled City`s advantage from the penalty spot in the 34th minute after Ryan Strachan was adjudged to have handled. Stuart Anderson was sent off for the home side for a poor challenge on Andrew Cook, with two other players booked for their part in the melee that followed. And Brechin cruised to victory from there on in, with McAllister completing his hat-trick with a neat finish from Kevin Byers` cross and adding a fourth with a flicked header from six yards. He left the field shortly afterwards to be replaced by Mark Archdeacon and he got in on the act in stoppage-time with an emphatic header from David McKenna`s cross.
