Duo missing for Peterhead Peterhead duo Ryan Strachan and Barry Sellars have been passed fit for the visit of Annan Athletic. They have both are added to the Blue Toon squad looking for revenge following their exit from the Ramsdens Cup in midweek at the hands of the Galabank men. Balmoor boss John Sheran is determined that his men stamp their style of football on the game. He said: "On Tuesday we let Annan dictate the game and the ball was in the air too long. We have to impose ourselves better and pass the ball about. "We did that in periods on Tuesday and looked good when we did. We may have had a couple of disappointing results but we are not overly worried as there are definitely signs that we are coming together as a team." Annan striker Sean O'Connor is a major doubt. O'Connor has a hamstring injury and he looks set to join the suspended trio of Aaron Muirhead, Kevin Neilson and Bryan Gilfillan on the sidelines. Galabank manager Harry Cairney is not reading too much into his side's 4-2 cup win in midweek over the Blue Toon and said: "It is hard to say whether we have an advantage in this game and all I would say is that both sides know each other a lot better now. "Peterhead will be well up for this game not only to make up for the midweek game but also to get their first league win of the season and we have to be prepared for that."

Harty wins it for Annan Peterhead let two leads slip to go joint bottom of the Scottish Third Division after Ian Harty scored the winner for Annan in a flowing 3-2 win at Balmoor. Bryan Deasley put the home side ahead, finding the top corner with a long-range effort after eight minutes. Annan proved their fighting spirit and came back at Peterhead strong, their pressure paying off when Jordan McKechnie volleyed in right-footed from 12 yards. Just before half-time Rory McAllister smashed into the roof of the net in front of goal to restore the home lead. Five minutes after the break that lead was levelled, again by McKechnie, the 19-year-old kept a cool head to knock in from six yards. Athletic went in front for the first time thanks to Harty's penalty after Steven Sloan had been brought down after 73 minutes. Callum MacDonald had a golden opportunity to equalise for Peterhead in the final minute but his header from six yards sailed over the crossbar.
