Barnett back for Reds test Peterborough could have Tyrone Barnett back for the visit of Nottingham Forest. Barnett received extensive treatment on a thigh muscle problem last week after sustaining the injury in the home win over Leicester and the striker was not involved against Coventry on Saturday. Following the 2-2 draw at the Ricoh Arena, Posh boss Darren Ferguson revealed that Barnett was close to making the squad and he will continue to be assessed with the view to him possibly making a comeback on Easter Monday. Ferguson reported no fresh injury problems and could make one or two changes against Forest. Barnett offers one option, but fellow forward David Ball, defender Mark Little and midfielders Joe Newell and Daniel Kearns will also be hoping for recalls. Forest boss Steve Cotterill is likely to make changes. Cotterill stuck with the same side that won 3-0 at Crystal Palace against relegation rivals Bristol City on Saturday evening. A second game in three days, coupled with a 1-0 home defeat, probably means that changes are in the offing as Cotterill freshens up his team. The fit-again Danny Higginbotham and George Elokobi will be pushing for recalls along with fellow defender Scott Wootton, midfielder Lewis McGugan and striker Marcus Tudgay. Cotterill insists his players will head to London Road in good spirits despite the defeat to Bristol City dragging them back into the relegation dogfight. "The lads are disappointed but certainly not disheartened. They didn't just play well against Bristol City, they played really well," said Cotterill. "They are a determined bunch and they will be ready to go again at Peterborough in what will be a difficult game, so we have got to make sure that we are ready."
