Match Preview
Posh rue Rowe absence Peterborough will be without winger Tommy Rowe for the visit of League One leaders Brighton. Rowe - who has been playing at full-back under Gary Johnson this season - picked up a groin injury at Brentford last weekend and is ruled out. Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi is favourite to fill in at left-back as Johnson has everyone else fit. Record signing Ryan Bennett has fully recovered from illness and Gabriel Zakuani played the full 90 minutes last weekend after an arm injury. Forward Lee Tomlin is still suspended as he serves the final game of his three-match ban but midfielder James Wesolowski is back from a knee injury as Posh look for a win to cut the gap on Brighton. Brighton duo Matt Sparrow and Adam El-Abd have been passed fit for the trip. Midfielder Sparrow missed last Saturday's win over Yeovil with a groin problem but has trained this week. Centre-half El-Abd suffered a broken nose against the Glovers but was back in training just two days later and should reclaim his place in the starting line-up. Manager Gus Poyet therefore has a virtually full-strength squad for the table-topping clash with midfielder Alan Navarro the only absentee. Navarro is continuing his rehabilitation from a ruptured cruciate ligament and has targeted a return in February. The Seagulls are six points clear at the top of the table on the back of a 10-game unbeaten run.

Match Report
Seagulls fly high at Posh Table-topping Brighton cruised past 10-man Peterborough 3-0 in a battle of the League One big guns. Ashley Barnes glanced them into a 16th-minute lead when being picked out by Elliott Bennett's free-kick from the left - and the goalscorer continued to be a pivotal figure. He was involved in a tangle on the deck with George Boyd that led to the Posh man being shown a red card. Brighton Bennett being scythed down by Ryan Bennett three minutes later, but the same Seagulls man saw his penalty saved by Joe Lewis - the best in a bunch of fine stops from the Posh keeper. Brighton did soon double their advantage in the 33rd minute when Inigo Calderon was able to convert a Bennett corner from point-blank range at the second attempt to strike for the third time in as many matches. Livewire wideman Bennett earned another spot-kick when hauled down by Lewis in the 62nd minute but handed over responsibilities to Barnes who stroked the ball into the corner. But the Albion frontman was left with head in hands moments later when twice denied a hat-trick. His first effort was blocked by defender Kelvin Langmead before he blazed the rebound against the bar. And Barnes again missed out on a treble when striking the bar for a second time in the dying moments.
