Match Preview
Welsh back for Thistle Partick are boosted by the return of Sean Welsh from suspension against Falkirk. But Aaron Muirhead looks set to miss out after being ill all week and Stephen O'Donnell continues to be absent due to an ankle problem. Thistle are looking for a first win in five matches and manager Jackie McNamara said: "There is not too much wrong with our play and the only criticism I can give the players is that we are not taking our chances. "The last time we played Falkirk they stifled the game and we had to settle for a goalless draw. I would reckon that we will be facing that same approach again." Falkirk have Darren Dods and Stewart Murdoch available after suspensions. Jonathan Flynn is also free of a ban but has picked up an ankle knock in training and looks set to ruled out. David Weatherston is available after illness. Technical director Alex Smith said: "We travel to Firhill on the back of a good performance although a disappointing result against Morton last weekend. "We carried no luck at all in that game but if we put in the same level of performance we can take something away with us. "Thistle have done well this season and we do respect them, but we are looking to win and we can do it."
