Duo out for Thistle Partick Thistle are looking for their first win in six games when they host in-form Dundee but defender Willie Kinniburgh and striker Simon Donnelly are both missing through injury. Frontman Martin Grehan is pushing for a starting place after netting a hat-trick in a reserve game during the week and on-loan Hearts midfielder Ryan McGowan could also feature after missing out on the Jags' last two games. Assistant manager Ian Maxwell said: "We are in the middle of a really busy schedule and we will want to be as fresh as possible for this game against an in-form side. "We have beaten Dundee here already this season and they beat us up at their place so it looks like it is your typical hard to predict First Division game." Dundee have included former Scotland winger Neil McCann as a trialist again. Lochee United midfielder Craig Robertson, who has been playing on a similar basis, is not listed as he is unavailable. Barry Smith has resisted the temptation to include himself as the Dark Blues go looking to extend their unbeaten run to 18 games with the Dens Park boss believing his side are in for a tough test. Smith said: "Thistle away will be a really difficult game for us and they will be looking to get going again after their recent unbeaten run was ended. "They have a great deal of youth and experience in their side and we need to play well to get anything."

Dundee stretch run with point Dundee extended their unbeaten run to 18 league games as they secured a 0-0 draw at Partick. In an even first half, Dee went close through Gary Harkins who headed wide after eight minutes and Stephen O'Donnell whose long-range volley was well saved by Thistle goalkeeper Scott Fox. The home side's best opportunity came 21 minutes in when Chris Erskine volleyed wide from six yards. Both sides continued to create and fail to take chances in the second period. Firstly, Dundee substitute Graham Bayne fired wide from six yards on the hour mark just moments after coming on before Partick's Kris Doolan missed from 12 yards. Thistle's Paul Paton nearly won it a minute from time but volleyed wide when well placed inside the box.
