Latics `hopeful' over Simpson Oldham manager Paul Dickov will make a late decision on the fitness of Robbie Simpson ahead of the npower League One clash with Bournemouth. Former Cambridge forward Simpson has been sidelined in recent weeks with a broken toe, but Dickov revealed he has stepped up his rehabilitation. "We're hopeful, but with a broken bone in his foot we can't say for sure," said Dickov. "He's been doing a lot of running, he did ball work on Thursday and we'll have to see how he reacts." Felipe Morais remains sidelined with concussion following his car crash on the way to last weekend's derby defeat at Rochdale. James Tarkowski was sent off during that game and will have to dislodge the impressive centre-back partnership formed by Jean Yves Mvoto and Reece Brown in Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Hartlepool if he is to return. Captain Dean Furman (knee) heads a bulging injury list that includes James Wesolowski (shoulder), Zander Diamond (thigh) and Paul Black (hamstring). Winger Keanu Marsh-Brown serves the final game of a five-match suspension stemming from his red card against Scunthorpe and subsequent FA misconduct charge. Bournemouth are set to be without record signing Matt Tubbs for the third successive game. Tubbs missed the Cherries' draw at Carlisle last weekend as well as the midweek victory over Brentford because of a groin strain, and the same injury is likely to keep the striker out of the trip to Boundary Park. However, Bournemouth have been boosted by the arrival of Zavon Hines on loan from Burnley and the frontman could make his debut. Winger Donal McDermott and forward Wes Thomas were both withdrawn during the win over the Bees with minor knocks, but the pair could be fit in time for the clash with the Latics. Manager Lee Bradbury will be without a number of first-teamers, however. Full-back Charlie Daniels has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a hairline fracture in his foot, while goalkeeper Shwan Jalal (back) and defender Stephen Purches (double leg break) are definitely out and captain Adam Barrett is unlikely to make his comeback from a hamstring problem.
