Match Preview
Bishop blow for County Notts County look like being without captain Neal Bishop for the visit of Leyton Orient. Bishop needed stitches after suffering a gashed right foot during the defeat to Yeovil last weekend and he left Huish Park on crutches. However, manager Martin Allen has options to fill the void left by Bishop in midfield. He said: "We have got Hamza (Bencherif), John Spicer and Charlie (Allen). Jeff (Hughes) can play in there and so can Ishmel (Demontagnac) so we have got loads of options." Lee Hughes will continue to be monitored as he attempts to recover from a calf complaint. "He didn't travel to Yeovil because he had a fitness test very early on Friday morning and his calf was tight," added Allen. "He is still working with the physio and I'm hoping he will be able to train, but time will tell. We'll see how his body reacts." Lee Cook will be fit to play his final game for Leyton Orient. The QPR winger, whose loan spell comes to an end after the match, has shaken off a minor knock picked up during last weekend's 3-0 win over Exeter. Defender Ben Chorley is still missing with a thigh injury and midfielder Dean Cox is not yet fit due to a knee problem so boss Russell Slade could name an unchanged starting line-up. Goalkeeper Lee Butcher returned against Exeter and keeps his place as on-loan Ben Alnwick has now gone back to Tottenham while defender Tom Clarke, an unused substitute last week, has returned to Huddersfield. Striker Jonathan Tehoue made a goalscoring return from a broken wrist as a sub and will be involved again.

Match Report
Butcher comes to rescue Lee Butcher saved Jeff Hughes' 93rd-minute penalty as Notts County lost 2-1 to Leyton Orient at Meadow Lane. It was not a good day for the Magpies midfielder, whose mistake had led to Orient's opener. A minute from the break, Hughes gave the ball away just outside the area and failed to win it back, allowing Dawson to chip the ball over Nelson. After dominating the second half, County were caught out five minutes from time as another defensive error, from Mike Edwards, let in Adam Mooney, and he fed Jonathan Tehoue who eventually beat Nelson. Within seconds though, County halved the deficit as Jeff Hughes played in namesake Lee, and he fired home. And the Magpies had the chance to snatch a deserved point when Leon McSweeney fouled Jeff Hughes and was sent off, but Butcher guessed the right way to earn his side victory.
