Match Preview
Same again for Johnson Northampton manager Gary Johnson is set to name an unchanged side against Torquay on Friday night as he searches for his first win in charge. Johnson saw a much-improved performance in the 1-1 draw at Bradford last Saturday and hopes to have the same XI available. Centre-back Dean Beckwith could be back in the squad after a groin injury but he may have to settle for a place on the bench as new signing Byron Webster made an impression against the Bantams. Midfielder Ryan Gilligan will miss out on facing the club he joined on loan earlier this year after he turned his ankle in the warm-up at Bradford, while captain Andy Holt is struggling with a knock. Striker Billy McKay is out for around six weeks after dislocating his elbow while fellow forward Leon McKenzie (knee) trained on Thursday for the first time in recent weeks and could make the squad. Johnson said: "Leon has been in the physio room since I've been here and I'm sure he is as frustrated as everyone else but you do have to manage the injury that he's got. I'm not sure if he has done enough to be involved on Friday but we will see how he comes through training." Torquay boss Paul Buckle will be without Ben Pringle for the trip. The 21-year-old midfielder, who made five appearances during a month-long loan spell at Plainmoor, has returned to parent club Derby to fight for a first-team place. Damon Lathrope could retain his place in central midfield following an impressive performance during the 3-1 win over Cheltenham in midweek, although Joe Oastler is another option. Buckle, who has no new injury or suspension problems to worry about, is unlikely to make too many other changes following a four-game unbeaten run which has seen his side move into the npower League Two play-off places. Striker Billy Kee returned from an ankle injury to make the squad against the Robins and is pushing for a starting berth following a 10-minute run-out. Midfielder Eunan O'Kane is also available for a recall following a 20-minute cameo.

Match Report
Bauza snatches point for Cobblers Guillem Bauza grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to earn Northampton a share of the spoils against promotion-chasing Torquay in a 2-2 draw at Sixfields. Substitute Billy Kee looked to have won it for Torquay when he put them back in front in stoppage time, but Bauza had the final word in a dramatic game. Torquay's build-up to the game was badly hampered as they were stuck on the motorway, where their players had to board a coach borrowed from Cheltenham Town to continue their trip to Northampton. The game kicked off half an hour late, but the visitors were quickly into their stride, taking a 14th-minute lead when Eunan O'Kane shot home from the edge of the box. The Cobblers gradually got into the game and got back on level terms on the half-hour mark. A Liam Davis free-kick was headed back into the six-yard box by Abdul Osman where John Johnson headed home. Northampton had the better chances in the second half with Scott Bevan twice saving from Michael Jacobs and then denying Bauza late on with a point-blank save. Kee thought he had sealed his side the points two minutes into stoppage time, but Bouza popped up to hammer home a volley and earn Northampton a deserved point.
