Motherwell manager Mark McGhee claimed: "We didn't defend very well at either goal but we feel very disappointed - in fact, let down - as we didn't get many decisions.

"We looked like a good, well-organised, disciplined team.

"We know our weakness and we know what we have to address in the summer. We need to get better at defending and particularly at set-pieces."

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan said: "Either team could have won, but fortunately we got the break of luck.

"That takes the pressure off us for a wee while until Rangers play.

"We will continue to try and play football the way it is meant to be played and hopefully we'll win at the same time."
