Match Preview
Gable Endies wait on Gonzalez Montrose manager Steven Tweed is waiting on international clearance for new signing Ramiro Gonzalez before finalising his side to take on Berwick. Tweed has moved for the former Ross County and Raith stopper ahead of two games in four days against Rangers. The Links Park men are definitely without injured defensive trio Gordon Pope, Fraser Milligan and Jonathan Crawford. Tweed is looking for his men to build on a good point gained at promotion-chasing Stranraer last weekend. He said: "We can pass the ball better than we did at Stranraer but we got a good result and will take confidence from that and look to do better on our artificial surface. "Berwick will be dangerous opponents as they will be out to end a disappointing run." Berwick's resources for the trip have been stretched as they will be missing five players. Defenders Elliot Smith and Chris McLeod are struggling with injury and David Greenhill is suspended following his red card against Clyde in midweek. Kevin Gordon and Ian Little have been excused from duty following a family bereavement. Manager Jimmy Crease has asked his remaining players for a resilient performance and said: "We are down to the bare bones and low on confidence after a disappointing run. "We need the remaining players to rally round and give us everything in a resolute way. We created chances in our defeat to Clyde and that was pleasing as we had been struggling to be creative recently."

Match Report
Same again for duo Craig O'Reilly's equaliser ensured that Montrose and Berwick shared a 1-1 draw for the second time this season. In a change of roles from the first game back in October, it was the Gable Endies who took the lead when Paul Tosh netted from the penalty spot. O'Reilly hit back for the visitors as Berwick brought their six-game losing streak to an end. Steve Tweed was fouled inside the box by Jamie Ewart after 62 minutes and Tosh did not turn down the invitation to put his side ahead. But O'Reilly latched onto John Grant's cross to draw Berwick level within seven minutes. Tosh missed a glorious opportunity to secure all three points when he sliced wide from 12 yards in stoppage time.
