Match Preview
Crisis continues for Dons MK Dons' injury problems show little signs of easing ahead of the visit of Tranmere. With a squad riddled by injury, boss Karl Robinson saw his patched-up team earn a 1-1 draw at Preston on Saturday. Robinson was without forward Dean Bowditch, centre-half Mathias Doumbe and recalled full-back James Tavernier at Deepdale and Bowditch and Doumbe are likely to remain on the sidelines. Luke Chadwick started once again despite a niggling knee problem, but once more the winger was substituted before the midway point of the second half. He will continue to be assessed. Defender Tom Flanagan, midfielder Paul Slane and strikers Charlie MacDonald and Jabo Ibehre represent the limited options available to Robinson should he wish to make any changes. Ronnie Moore has no injury worries as Tranmere look to continue their impressive run of form. On-loan Everton midfielder James Wallace returned from a hamstring injury to play 90 minutes in the 3-0 Good Friday victory over Stevenage. Forward Adam McGurk (broken cheekbone), midfielder Martin Devaney (hamstring) and Mark McChrystal (hernia) are all fit again and will hope to force their way into Moore's matchday squad. Rovers have picked up 17 points from eight games since Moore returned to replace Les Parry as manager last month, and the former Rotherham boss is full of praise for his players. "The back four has been good, the lads up front have worked hard and the two midfield players have done well," he told Tranmere Player. "What we lack in quality at times in the attacking areas we make up for with a bit of heart and spirit."
