Smith back for Dons
Adam Smith comes back into the reckoning for MK Dons ahead of the visit of his former club Bournemouth.
Smith, on loan from Tottenham, has been on international duty with the England Under-21 squad and missed the defeat to Oldham on Monday night. The defender will hope to be involved against the club where he spent the majority of last season on loan.
However, manager Karl Robinson could stick with the side that started the game at Boundary Park.
Charlie MacDonald could make his long-awaited return to the squad after five weeks out with a thigh injury.
Fellow forward Jabo Ibehre has missed the last three matches with a hamstring problem and is still a doubt, while midfielder Jay O'Shea (ankle) remains out.
Bournemouth pair Steven Gregory and Shaun Cooper are injury doubts for the clash.
Both players came off with knocks during the 1-1 draw with Rochdale last weekend, and neither has taken part in full training this week.
Midfielder Gregory suffered a groin strain in the stalemate with Dale, while Cooper has suffered a recurrence of a knee problem which has blighted his career.
Manager Lee Bradbury will leave it as late as possible before deciding whether or not the duo are fit to face the Dons.
Long-term casualty Nathan Byrne has had surgery to aid his recovery from an ankle injury and the defender is targeting a return in January.
Shaun McDonald is making good progress in his recuperation from a badly-bruised toe but is unlikely to feature, while Mark Molesley is running again but remains several weeks away from a return following a hamstring tear.
Morrison rescues Dons
Clinton Morrison grabbed a late equaliser for MK Dons in a pulsating 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at stadium:mk.
Angelo Balanta's close-range volley had given the Dons a deserved half-time lead before two goals from Wesley Thomas turned the game on its head. But Morrison scrambled the ball home to prevent a second successive defeat for the hosts.
Balanta put them ahead two minutes before the break when he nipped in at the near post to volley Dean Lewington's cross through the legs of keeper Darryl Flahavan.
Balanta slotted another good chance wide on the stroke of half-time before Dean Bowditch volleyed against the post and then somehow headed over from only four yards shortly after the break.
But Bournemouth began to get a foothold in the game and Thomas equalised on the hour mark, stealing in unmarked to head home Warren Cummings' free-kick.
Thomas then put the Cherries 2-1 up when he seized upon Gary MacKenzie's woeful pass, but MacKenzie atoned for his error by providing the perfect knockdown for Morrison to bundle in the Dons' equaliser nine minutes from the end.
