Hewitt fit for Macc Elliot Hewitt is poised to return to the Macclesfield line-up when Crawley visit the Moss Rose. Wales Under-21 international Hewitt missed the midweek draw with Hereford due to a leg injury but has since returned to full training. However, fellow full-back Carl Tremarco is set for two to three weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring strain against the Bulls. Nat Brown and Tony Diagne both came back from respective back and knee problems on Tuesday night and have trained without concern since. Ben Tomlinson is set to return from a sickness bug, but Ben Marshall has been struck down with illness. Dwayne Mattis has received a pain-killing injection to speed up his recovery from an ankle injury, while Paul Morgan is a long term victim with a similar problem alongside Lewis Chalmers (hernia) and Ross Draper (broken metatarsal). Gary Alexander is in line to make his Crawley debut. The much-travelled striker has joined Town from Brentford on loan until the end of the season, when the move will become permanent. Alexander will challenge Billy Clarke, John Akinde, Karl Hawley and Shaun Batt for a place in attack. Defender Kyle McFadzean remains a doubt after missing the goalless draw against Southend with a knee injury. Boss Steve Evans made five other changes on Monday night so Akinde, Sanchez Watt, Scott Neilson, Hope Akpan and Dean Howell will be hoping for recalls. Right-back David Hunt is still out with a broken foot and goalkeeper Scott Shearer is a long-term absentee with a knee injury.
