Match Preview
Duo still missing for Silkmen Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson will again be without Paul Bolland and Paul Morgan as they prepare to host Bradford. Midfielder Bolland is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and skipper Morgan is out for the season with a broken arm. The Silkmen have no other injury or suspension concerns as they bid to bid bounce back from Saturday`s thumping 4-1 defeat at Shrewsbury. Simpson is expecting a stern challenge from the Bantams, and said: "They've got a big squad and can shuffle things around a bit more. "They are going to come to us fighting for their lives and then we have Accrington on Friday who are beating everything in front of them at the moment. Two difficult games, but two important ones." Luke Oliver is in line to start for Bradford. The defender returned as a 78th-minute substitute in Saturday`s 2-1 defeat at Stevenage having missed the previous game against Shrewsbury with a hamstring injury that was expected to rule him out for three weeks. He came through the run-out unscathed and should take his place in central defence. His return is a boost to interim boss Peter Jackson who has had to play midfielder David Syers at right-back and move regular right-sided defender Lewis Hunt into the centre in recent games. Fellow defenders Simon Ramsden (thigh) and Shane Duff (calf) remain sidelined, while up front Jackson has vowed to rejig his attack with Chib Chilaka, Jake Speight and Scott Dobie fighting it out to partner James Hanson. On-loan Rotherham winger Kevin Ellison is still missing with his thigh problem but could return on Saturday while the match comes too soon for Tommy Doherty who is short of match fitness following his three-month lay-off with an ankle problem.

Match Report
Huge win for Bantams Bradford eased their fears of dropping out of the Football League with a competent 1-0 win at Macclesfield. The Cheshire side's fourth successive defeat leaves them looking over their shoulders as they fall down League Two. The Bantams might have scored in the 18th minute when striker James Hanson saw a close-range drive flick off keeper Jose Veiga and loop inches over the crossbar. From the resulting corner, Luke Oliver sent a header off the top of the woodwork. But Bradford did not have long to wait with former Macc player Gareth Evans picking out Hanson in the 21st minute for the striker to convert with a firm header. David Syers raced through Macc's defence in the 53rd minute but drilled his shot wide of the upright before Colin Daniel then sent a shot well wide from the edge of the box for the home side. Macc thought they had equalised in the 77th minute when Emile Sinclair neatly controlled a long ball from Matty Hamshaw before finding the far corner only to be narrowly called for offside. Hamshaw then took a pot-shot from the edge of the box that was easily saved by Jon McLaughlin in the dying moments.
