Os hampered by Daniels loss Leyton Orient are set to be without Charlie Daniels for the visit of Yeovil. The left-back suffered an ankle injury during Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Dagenham and had to be replaced by Jason Crowe, who is now likely to start. Ben Chorley is not expected to have recovered from his knee problem in time to figure this weekend but fellow centre-half Terrell Forbes could return to face his old club after recovering from a virus. On-loan Tottenham winger Paul Jose Mpoku will also be missing as he is on international duty with Belgium's under-19 squad. Harry Kane and Tommy Carroll have been named in the England under-19 squad but will be available at the weekend. Terry Skiverton could hand a second debut to new signing Martin Gritton. The 32-year-old, who enjoyed a previous spell at Huish Park in 2001 on a month's loan from Plymouth, has signed from Chester until the end of the season. Gritton will go straight into the squad in place of Antonio German, who has been recalled by parent club QPR. Goalkeeping coach Gareth Stewart will also be added to the squad as cover for first-choice stopper Stephen Henderson following the departure of Richard Martin. Martin, who managed just five appearances for the Glovers, has joined Puerto Rico Islanders on a 12-month contract. Midfielder Paul Wotton could return from a hamstring injury, but Luke Ayling (suspended) and Sam Williams (shoulder) will both miss out.

MacDonald shoots down Orient Orient's promotion hopes took a jolt after a nightmare first-half that saw Yeovil's Shaun MacDonald help himself to a hat-trick in a 5-1 win for the Glovers. The O's also had Matthew Spring sent off and lost captain Stephen Dawson through injury before the break, the former seeing red having been adjudged by referee Geoff Eltringham to have committed a dangerous tackle on Andrew Welsh. Glovers midfielder MacDonald blasted in a 30-yard volley off the inside of the post in the ninth minute and was on target in the 18th minute, beating goalkeeper Jamie Jones at his near post from 15 yards. MacDonald completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot just before the break after his cross was adjudged to have been handled by Dawson, who was forced off with a leg-injury soon after. Yeovil added a fourth goal within two minutes of second-half when a cross from the right was deflected off Adam Barrett into the path of Welsh and he hammered home from 15 yards. The only consolation on a miserable afternoon for Orient was a goal by Dean Cox in the 70th minute when the midfielder lobbed the ball home from 15 yards but Dean Bowditch restored his side's four-goal advantage with a simple tap-in from close range with two minutes remaining.
