Match Preview

Leacock closes in on return Dean Leacock could return to the Leyton Orient squad for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. Leacock has missed Orient's last three matches after suffering a knee injury against Wycombe three weeks ago, but he hopes to be fit to face the Owls. Fellow defender Ryan Dickson looks set to miss out again with a thigh injury so utility man Leon McSweeney will continue at left-back. Young winger George Porter is also on the sidelines with an ankle problem but Orient have no new injury worries following the 4-1 defeat at MK Dons on Tuesday night. Leeds loanee Paul Rachubka continues in goal as Jamie Jones (wrist), Lee Butcher (knee) and Marek Stech (ankle) are all still in the treatment room. Sheffield Wednesday defender Danny Batth faces a late fitness test ahead of the game. Batth, on a season-long loan from Wolves, has a slight hamstring strain but is expected to resume alongside Rob Jones in central defence. Fellow defender Reda Johnson could be back in contention after missing the last five games due to a hamstring problem. If Johnson proves his fitness in time, manager Dave Jones must decide whether to recall him to the starting line-up or stick with Julian Bennett at full-back. Winger Keith Treacy joined on an emergency loan from Burnley until the end of the season and he could be in line for a debut. Striker Gary Madine sustained a dead-leg in last weekend's win at Notts County but started in midweek and is expected to be available despite complaining of some stiffness after the home draw with Walsall. Boss Jones has no new injury or suspension problems as the Owls, two points behind second-placed Sheffield United, look to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.
