Match Preview
Gallagher could start for Leicester Paul Gallagher could return to the Leicester starting line-up for the visit of Barnsley. The forward missed the home win over Millwall a fortnight ago with a knee injury sustained during the FA Cup replay defeat to Manchester City at Eastlands. He returned to action as a second-half substitute against Sheffield United on Tuesday night and suffered no ill effects following a 30-minute cameo at Bramall Lane. Chelsea left-back Patrick Van Aanholt made his debut against the Blades and the Dutchman should keep his place to make his first home appearance. Sven-Goran Eriksson does have options should he wish to freshen things up. Bruno Berner, Jack Hobbs, Matt Oakley, Steve Howard and Martyn Waghorn all started on the bench in midweek. Meanwhile, Barnsley skipper Stephen Foster is rated 50/50 for his side's clash at manager Mark Robins' former club. Foster has missed the last two matches due to a gashed shin sustained in the recent win at Doncaster and, if he is not ready, Robins will retain a back four of Jason Shackell, Matt Hill, Bobby Hassell and Kieran Trippier. Robins revealed several unspecified players were carrying knocks picked up in the midweek win over Preston and could face late fitness tests, while long-term absentees Jay McEveley and Luke Potter are still out with their respective knee injuries. Recent loan signings Jacob Mellis, from Chelsea, and Frank Nouble, from West Ham, are both expected to retain their places in Robins' starting line-up, while Jacob Butterfield and Jim O'Brien are pushing for recalls.

Match Report
King reigns again for Leicester Andy King took his goal tally for the season to 13 with a double against Barnsley as Leicester continued their assault on the npower Championship play-offs with a 4-1 victory at the Walkers Stadium. Paul Gallacher marked his 50th Football League start with a superb 30-yard strike to give Leicester the lead after 15 minutes. Wales international midfielder King made it 2-0 two minutes before half-time but Jacob Mellis scored in first-half injury time to give Barnsley hope going into the break. King restored the two-goal cushion just before the hour mark before Kyle Naughton completed the scoring with another long-range cracker in the final minute. It secured a fifth win in six league matches for Sven-Goran Eriksson`s side, who are up to eighth in the table and three points shy of the play-off positions. After a quiet start to the game, Gallacher brought the Walkers Stadium to its feet with a magnificent right-foot shot into the top corner from Richie Wellens` pass. Wellens was involved again when King doubled Leicester`s lead in the 43rd minute. He gave the ball to Ayegbeni Yakubu, who laid it off to King and he beat Barnsley keeper Luke Steele at the second attempt. Barnsley had the ball in the net immediately afterwards, but the effort was ruled out for offside. However, Mellis did get them back into the game when his shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner. Gallacher and Wellens threatened before King scored his second goal of the game - a low, 18-yard drive after 58 minutes. Garry O'Connor shot wide for Barnsley midway through the second half in a rare attack from the South Yorkshire side. Steele produced two fine saves late on, palming away shots from Yakubu and substitute Matt Oakley. But he was beaten for a fourth time in the 89th minute when Naughton let fly from 30 yards out.
