Leeds short up front
Leeds are expected to be short of strikers again for their home derby clash with West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield with Matt Smith and Luke Varney both ruled out.
Smith serves the final game of his three-match ban following his recent dismissal against Sheffield Wednesday and Varney is hoping to complete a move to Championship rivals Blackburn.
El-Hadji Diouf made his first start for the club since September in the midweek draw with Ipswich and could resume alongside leading goalscorer Ross McCormack.
Defender Lee Peltier, midfielders Alex Mowatt and Luke Murphy and striker Dominic Poleon are all pushing for recalls as Leeds chase their first win in nine matches.
Huddersfield's leading goalscorer James Vaughan remains a major doubt.
The 12-goal striker missed the midweek defeat at Bournemouth after aggravating a knee problem and if he misses out Danny Ward is expected to continue alongside Nahki Wells as Martin Paterson (thigh) is still not ready to return.
Winger Adam Hammill (knee) is another big doubt, but skipper Peter Clarke (knee), sidelined since early November, is pushing for a return to action after making the bench on Tuesday night.
Recent signing Joe Lolley is hoping to make his debut for the club, but midfielder Jonathan Hogg (hip) is doubtful and defender Joel Lynch (groin) is definitely out.
