Match Preview
Pascali misses Celtic game Kilmarnock will be without the suspended Manuel Pascali for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against Celtic. The skipper will complete a two-match ban when the Scottish champions come calling. Liam Kelly and Garry Hay have both trained this week but the match at Rugby Park is likely to come too soon for both players. Kilmarnock striker Borja Perez would love to find the back of the net against Celtic - but insists a victory comes before personal plaudits. The Spaniard netted only his second goal of the season last weekend to secure a win over Queen of the South in the William Hill Scottish Cup. He has now set his sights on adding to that tally and admits a goal against the Scottish champions would be "spectacular". But, having claimed maximum points against Celtic already this season, Borja would be satisfied simply to record another win. He said: "I have played eight or nine games now so I have more confidence in myself. "The last goal has given me more confidence and, if I play, I'm hoping for a good game on Saturday. "It would definitely be spectacular to score against Celtic. "I want my team to win and, if I score, that's even better. "If I don't score, I'll still be happy for my team if they win." Mikael Lustig (hamstring) and Kris Commons (thigh) will miss out for Celticafter going off injured against Spartak Moscow. But Victor Wanyama returns from suspension and Scott Brown has trained after deciding he will not immediately have surgery on his hip problem. "He's feeling good and remarkably again had a great game for us the other night," said manager Neil Lennon. "He doesn't want to have the surgery so we are going to manage him the best we can. "We can't force him to have surgery, although eventually our medical team thinks he will require it. "It's not like we are soft-soaping him through training now, he is training all the time. "He has obviously had a positive reaction from the last injection and we will just keep going. We need to chat about it. If and when the surgery is required we will need to plan the period he is going to be out, because we would like him for the last 16. "I don't think he would (miss the last-16) if he had it now. It's an eight-week period of rehab. "I haven't really had a chance to speak to him or my medical team but he wants to keep on playing. "But we don't want to put him through what we put him through the last two months." Striker Anthony Stokes (ankle) and wingers Paddy McCourt (hamstring) and James Forrest (hamstring) remain out.
