Match Preview
Killie monitor Heffernan progress Kilmarnock striker Paul Heffernan could return from a thigh injury for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Celtic. The Irishman resumed trainingon Thursday and will be assessed ahead of the Rugby Park contest. Zdenek Kroca (knee), Danny Buijs (hamstring), Ryan O'Leary (knee), Manuel Pascali (broken leg) and David Silva (calf) are still out. Goalkeeper Cammy Bell is determined to prevent Celtic celebrating after being subjected to a title party last season. Celtic need one point to clinch the Clydesdale Bank Premier League at Rugby Park, the venue where Rangers wrapped up last season's championship with a 5-1 victory. Rangers were three up inside seven minutes on the final day and added two more just after half-time before Kilmarnock recovered a semblance of pride. Celtic also clinched titles at Rugby Park in 2004 and 2007 and Bell is keen to avert another party. "We're determined to spoil it after what happened last season, we have got a lot of bad memories of that," the Scotland international said. "For us to lose another game that cost the title being won at our stadium would not be good. "The experience from last year wasn't good but the boys will take into it the game on Saturday knowing that we need to stay tight for the first half hour. "We need to keep ourselves in the game. Last season we got ourselves out the game in the first 10 minutes, which was disappointing. "As soon as Rangers went 3-0 up, everyone knew they were going to win the title. "Hopefully this season we will keep it tight in the first half and get something in the second half." Cha Du-ri returns from suspension for Celtic. The South Korea defender missed last Sunday's home win over St Johnstone after being sent off at Ibrox the previous week, as did Victor Wanyama, but the Hoops midfielder is banned for one more game. Winger James Forrest remains out with an ankle problem.
