Match Preview
Hull City will face a second London-based side in less than a week when they entertain Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
After cruelly losing to a last-gasp Didier Drogba goal on Saturday against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, manager Phil Brown will be aiming to pick his men up after their setback.
New signing Stephen Hunt was brought in to give the Tigers more of a goal threat and he scored on his debut and he'll be looking for more of the same against Harry Redknapp's men.
Kamel Ghilas, another newcomer, will be pushing for a starting berth after coming off the bench to make his Premier League debut.
Steven Mouyokolo made an impressive start to his Hull career as did Nigerian international Seyi Olofinjana as the Tigers looked quite comfortable as a defensive unit.
The inspirational Dean Marney suffered a nasty looking knee injury and will be missing for the Tigers.
Other injury news is that Richard Garcia, Jimmy Bullard, Ian Ashbee (all knee) and Craig Fagan (groin) will all miss out once more.
Tottenham started with an excellent victory against the much fancied Liverpool with defenders Benoit Assou-Ekotto and debutant Sebastien Bassong securing the points at White Hart Lane in a 2-1 success.
Redknapp will expect his side to continue their promising start and with Robbie Keane missing a couple of glorious chances, he could bring in Roman Pavlyuchenko or Peter Crouch to the starting line-up.
Midfield general Wilson Palacios was the worthy man-of-the-match on Sunday afternoon and he will start alongside Tom Huddlestone, Luka Modric and Aaaron Lennon in a classy midfield.
Spurs are missing Jermaine Jenas (calf), Michael Dawson (Achilles), Gareth Bale (knee cartilage) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) ahead of the KC Stadium clash.
Despite many of Tottenham's first choice centre-backs being unavailable, Ledley King played an important role alongside goal scorers Assou-Ekoto and Bassong, with Vedran Corluka having a solid game in their opener and will be looking for much of the same against an improving Hull outfit.
Last season Hull magnificently won at White Hart Lane with a 1-0 victory courtesy of a fantastic Geovanni free-kick.

Match Report
Tottenham Hotspur made it two wins out of two in the Premier League with a comprehensive victory at the KC Stadium.
A hat-trick from Jermain Defoe and strikes from Wilson Palacios and Robbie Keane saw the visitors overcome a disappointing Hull side, who could only muster up one goal through new boy Stephen Hunt.
Defoe came close for Spurs early on as the England international saw his clever chip from 18 yards dip just over the Hull crossbar.
Defoe did open the scoring on 10 minutes as a mistake from Hull skipper George Boateng allowed Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone to nip in and play a neat pass in to the ex-Portsmouth frontman, who found space to fire a left-footed piledriver into the bottom corner of the net.
The visitors were then 2-0 up minutes later as Keane found Palacios with space on the left-hand side of the box, allowing the Honduras international to pick his spot with a thundering left-footed strike.
Tottenham were then forced into an early substitution as keeper Carlo Cudicini came on to replace the injured Heurelho Gomes.
Against the run of play Hull grabbed one back on 25 minutes as a Hunt free-kick from 30 yards saw the ball evade everyone and bounce into right-hand corner of the Tottenham net to register the Irishman's second goal of the season.
However, Harry Redknapp's men restored their two-goal advantage just before the break as a ball from defender Alan Hutton found its way through the Hull defence and into the path of Defoe, who made no mistake from eight yards with a blistering right-footed strike.
Hull substitute Geovanni came close to pulling one back for the Tigers midway through the second half but the Brazilian's looping header was well tipped over by keeper Cudicini.
Defoe then came within inches of completing his hat-trick for Spurs but his left-footed shot from 12 yards whistled just passed Boaz Myhill's left-hand post.
Tottenham made it 4-1 on 78 minutes as Aaron Lennon sent in a curling cross from the right onto the head of Keane, who neatly sent the ball into the bottom corner of the net from close range.
Defoe then completed the rout and his third in injury time as the England striker pounced on a loose pass and sent the ball into the top corner with a thunderbolt from 18 yards.
