Match Preview
Barmby misses Tigers' Lions clash Hull will be without midfielder Nick Barmby for the home clash with Millwall due to a calf injury. Barmby, who struck the equaliser for the Tigers in the 1-1 home draw with Norwich last time out, is expected to be sidelined for up to four weeks. Tigers boss Nigel Pearson will also be without defender Liam Rosenior again. Rosenior damaged shoulder ligaments against Norwich and has targeted a return against Watford next week. Pearson recalled goalkeeper Matt Duke from his loan spell at Derby earlier this week and the 33-year-old is expected to be included as back-up for Brad Guzan, while Vito Mannone is still struggling with a thigh injury. Pearson has no other new injury or suspension problems as his side look to close the four-point gap on the top six. Millwall will be without defender Alan Dunne. The long-serving full-back starts a two-match ban after he was sent off late on in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff a fortnight ago. He could be replaced by Jack Smith, who is fit after a thigh injury, at right-back. Skipper Paul Robinson was forced off during the first half against Cardiff with a cut eye after being caught by Craig Bellamy but he will be fine. Midfielder Jimmy Abdou faces another couple of weeks out with a knee problem and forward Shaun Batt is a long-term absentee with a cruciate injury. Goalkeeper David Forde and strikers Steve Morison and Josh McQuoid have returned from international duty unscathed.

Match Report
Morison mauls Tigers Steve Morison boosted Millwall's npower Championship play-off bid with the only goal in a 1-0 win at Hull. The Wales striker may have struggled against England's Three Lions last weekend, but he shot down the Tigers with a superb first-half finish. Morison's 16th goal of the season saw Millwall leapfrog the hosts in the table to keep the Londoners in touch with the top six and still dreaming of back-to-back promotions. City are just a point behind them but games are running out and they need to turn around the home form which sees them without a win on their own turf since February 12. However, the hosts made a brisk start and Matty Fryatt's neat turn and cross had to be cleared by Jack Smith with Robert Koren waiting to pounce. Andy Dawson, making his 250th league appearance for the Tigers, then swung in a free-kick which Fryatt headed wide. At the other end on-loan Tottenham winger Andros Townsend created Millwall's first chance when he crossed for James Henry who drilled his shot into the side-netting. But after an otherwise dull first half an hour, Morison lit up the game in the 33rd minute. Liam Trotter won possession from James Harper in midfield and played a clever pass through to Morison, who expertly dinked the ball over City keeper Brad Guzan and into the net. Guzan did better when he held another shot from Henry while, as half-time approached, groans filled the air at the KC Stadium as Aaron McLean fired wastefully wide. Hull boss Nigel Pearson introduced former Lions loanee Jay Simpson at the break in a bid to pep up his side's anaemic attack. But Millwall remained the more threatening side and Morison could have doubled his tally when the ball fell to him inside the box only to sky his shot. Underworked Lions keeper David Forde had to make a save towards the hour mark when he kept out a shot from Koren. Moments later the lively Townsend came agonisingly close to make the game safe for the visitors. Corry Evans fouled Tamika Mkandawire just outside the area and Townsend curled the free-kick inches wide. Hull belatedly went on the attack and Koren scooped another effort over the bar before Simpson headed a cross from Fryatt wide. Former Lions youngsters David Amoo, on as a substitute, had a chance to snatch a point but put his shot too close to Forde before Simpson slid an injury-time opportunity wide.
