Match Preview
Hull City have a miserable Geovanni on their hands ahead of the midweek trip to Fulham, on top of a fight to preserve their top-flight status.
The Brazilian midfielder stormed into the dugout after being replaced 53 minutes into Sunday's 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers, prompting a furious reaction from manager Phil Brown.
"He'll never do that to me again," the Tigers boss raged after the match. "Why? Because I'm the manager. Geovanni isn't bigger than this football club - simple as that.
"I didn't think he was having a positive impact on the game and, when he had a chance to score, he didn't even get a shot in. His first touch was worse than mine!"
Brown's frustration at his most talented player is bound to have an impact on a squad already demoralised by picking up just five points in 2009.
To make matters worse, Brown will be without Dean Marney for the next three games after the midfielder lashed out at Morten Gamst Pedersen at the weekend.
His place could go to Nicky Barmby, although the former England international is likely to replace Geovanni, so Peter Halmosi and Ryan France may be in with a chance of a starting role.
The defence will also be weakened by the absence of Andy Dawson through suspension, leaving Anthony Gardner or Sam Ricketts to complete the back four.
Fulham will have John Paintsil back in their squad after the Ghanaian was suspended on Saturday and he should come in for Chris Baird.
The Cottagers continued their excellent form at the weekend, drawing 0-0 with Arsenal to leave them in ninth place, but manager Roy Hodgson saw it as two points dropped.
"I'm just disappointed we didn't win it - our shooting wasn't at its best," he conceded after the match.

Match Report
Manucho fired home a dramatic injury-time winner as Hull City snatched a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The on-loan Manchester United striker got the wrong side of Paul Konchesky to turn home Richard Garcia's stunning cross with over two minutes of injury time played.
The result was only Hull 's second victory in 19 league games, but the two men they really had to thank were goalkeeper Matt Duke and Fulham forward Bobby Zamora.
Duke kept his side in a game they were outplayed in for long periods after making a series of outstanding saves, while Zamora missed a number of fine chances that should have made the game safe for Roy Hodgson's hosts.
The win takes Hull five points clear of the relegation zone, while Fulham are free to concentrate on Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester United with a mid-table finish now on the cards.
Hull manager Phil Brown had kept faith with Geovanni, who had reacted angrily to being substituted against Blackburn .
But the name on everyone's lips was that of a man who couldn't play - Jimmy Bullard.
The midfielder left Craven Cottage for £5million in January but injured his cruciate knee ligaments, denying the home fans the chance to show the 30-year-old what they thought of his departure.
Instead they concentrated their efforts on cheering on Zamora , who had the first chance when he fired wide when well placed after 12 minutes.
And it was Zamora's strike-partner, Andrew Johnson, who nearly made the breakthrough shortly afterwards after heading Konchesky's cross wide at full-stretch.
The half drifted to a dreary close, but Fulham were immediately on the attack in the second period with Johnson forcing Duke to tip over just 40 seconds after the restart.
And they were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty as Kevin Kilbane appeared to drag Zamora to the ground, but referee Mike Jones waved away the protests.
That did not deter the hosts though and they were left ruing their luck twice in a matter of minutes as Clint Dempsey saw his superb 30-yard effort clawed away by Duke, before Bernard Mendy headed Johnson's effort off the line.
Konchesky then stung Duke's fingertips with a powerful drive, before Zamora 's moment of truth came and went as he somehow failed to apply the final touch as he and Sam Ricketts attacked Simon Davies' cross at the far post.
Duke rescued his side twice more but with a draw seemingly the inevitable outcome, Garcia got to the byline and curled in a wonderful cross that Manucho prodded home for his first goal in English football.
