Beckford unable to face Foxes Huddersfield's new loan signing Jermaine Beckford will not be available against parent club Leicester. The former Leeds striker made his debut for the Terriers after reuniting with previous manager Simon Grayson in time to start Saturday's home defeat to Watford. But Beckford is ineligible, so Grayson is likely to turn to either Sean Scannell or Alan Lee, who scored at the weekend after replacing Beckford with 11 minutes left. James Vaughan missed out against Watford due to a groin strain and is still doubtful, while winger Adam Hammill, on loan from Wolves, remains sidelined with a knee problem. Defender Joel Lynch will sit out the final game of his three-match ban, so Anthony Gerrard will continue in his absence. Huddersfield missed the chance to go top of the table on Saturday after losing for the first time in seven matches. Ritchie De Laet is likely to be missing for Leicester. The full-back limped out of the 2-1 victory at Middlesbrough on Saturday after just 28 minutes. That means the former Manchester United trainee is not expected to recover in time to feature against the Terriers. Highly-rated teenager Liam Moore stepped into the breach impressively at the Riverside Stadium and he will be the favourite to replace De Laet in west Yorkshire. Leicester striker Jermaine Beckford, who joined Huddersfield on loan last week, is not allowed to play against his parent club. The Foxes are chasing a fourth straight npower Championship victory and could finish the evening top of the table should they get it and other results go their way.
