Clarke absent for Grayson bow
Huddersfield's new manager Simon Grayson will be without skipper Peter Clarke for his first game in charge at home against Exeter.
Central defender Clarke is recovering from a double hernia operation, so Sean Morrison, on loan from Reading, is expected to continue alongside Jamie McCombe at the heart of defence.
Grayson, installed as Lee Clark's successor on Monday, has no new injury or suspension problems, but will also be without Tommy Miller, who is still struggling with a stomach injury.
Fellow midfielder Oscar Gobern should be in contention to retain his place in the starting line-up despite being forced off in the defeat to Sheffield United with a bang to the thigh.
Winger Gary Roberts returned to the starting line-up quicker than expected after recovering from a double hernia operation for the clash with the Blades and should be available again.
Huddersfield are chasing their first npower League One win in four games as they bid to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.
Steve Tully is set to return to the Exeter squad.
The defender sustained a hand injury in a 2-1 defeat at Notts County on Valentine's Day, subsequently missing the Grecians' dramatic 3-2 victory over Bury.
But if Tully passes a late check before travelling to the Galpharm Stadium then manager Paul Tisdale will have a fully-fit and suspension-free squad at his disposal.
Artur Krysiak has made the goalkeeping position his own this season, making 32 appearances and keeping nine clean sheets, and his form will be key to reviving the club's fortunes on the road.
With five defeats from their last seven away trips, Tisdale will need Krysiak to keep npower League One and Terriers' top-scorer Jordan Rhodes at bay.
Rhodes sinks Grecians
Jordan Rhodes scored his 30th goal of the season to secure Huddersfield a 2-0 win over Exeter in Simon Grayson's first game in charge.
Rhodes blasted home five minutes from time to sign off in style for international duty next week - he will miss Town's trip to Stevenage on Tuesday because of a call-up for Scotland's under-21s for the Euro qualifier against Holland.
Centre-back Jamie McCombe gave Town the lead in the 40th minute with his third goal in five matches after winger Danny Ward was fouled out on the left.
Ward took the free-kick himself and curled the ball into the box for McCombe to head home into the far corner.
Before that Sean Morrison struck the frame of the goal for the home side while Rhodes brought a superb one-handed save from Artur Krysiak.
Alan Lee, Ward and Lee Novak went close before Rhodes sealed it in the 85th minute. Oscar Gobern gave the ball to Novak who squared for Rhodes to smash home a rising drive off the underside of the bar from just inside the box.
