Huddersfield trio doubtful Huddersfield could be without Anthony Pilkington, Graham Carey and Alan Lee for the home clash with Exeter. Winger Pilkington, who missed the midweek FA Cup replay win over Cambridge due to a niggling hamstring problem, has visited a specialist this week and is rated doubtful, while Carey and Lee both picked up knocks on Tuesday night. But Gary Roberts came through his first full 90 minutes following a broken arm unscathed and is set to continue in the starting line-up. Goalkeeper Alex Smithies may have to settle for a place on the bench again due to the form of Ian Bennett and long-term absentees Gary Naysmith (foot), Tom Clarke (knee) and Lee Novak (hamstring) remain sidelined as promotion-chasing Town bid to keep pace with the top two. Exeter will have striker John O'Flynn back for the trip to Huddersfield O'Flynn has been missing since the 4-2 home loss to Brentford on October, 30 with a groin injury but has made a full recovery, defender Billy Jones is also back after sitting out the 3-1 win over Notts County last Saturday with a virus. David Noble is a major doubt as he is struggling with a bug which has kept him out of the last two matches. Striker Daniel Nardiello will be pushing for a start, he was an unused substitute against County but having fully recovered from a back problem and seemingly got over his hamstring troubles that have plagued him all season he could made the first XI. Skipper Matt Taylor made his first appearance since the first week of the season last weekend after overcoming a back injury and should retain his defensive position.
