Match Preview
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up for his side's FA Cup clash with Dover. Clark has no new injury or suspension problems after seeing the Terriers bounce back to winning ways on Monday with a 1-0 home success over promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday. The Town manager recalled wingers Anthony Pilkington and Gary Roberts, striker Jordan Rhodes and defender Graham Carey for the Owls clash and was rewarded as his side turned in a much-improved display, so all four are expected to retain their places. Defender Gary Naysmith (foot) and midfielders Theo Robinson and Damien Johnson (both knee) and Leigh Franks (hamstring), who has returned from his loan spell at Oxford, remain long-term absentees. Last season Huddersfield beat Dagenham & Redbridge and Port Vale on their way to a third-round defeat at home to West Brom. Dover have a handful of injury worries to contend with. The clash is the first time the Kent club have made it into the third round but Elliott Charles could play no part. The striker is struggling with a hamstring injury and there will be no giant-killing heroics for cup-tied Donovan Simmonds. Midfielder Barry Cogan is a doubt with a knee injury and Matt Fish is receiving treatment for a groin problem. Goalkeeper Ross Flitney has shaken off flu and is expected to start, while midfielder Jon Wallis is in contention despite needing stitches to his ankle. Adam Birchall - who has 11 goals to his name in the competition so far - will spearhead the Whites` frontline.

Match Report
Novak starts in Terriers success Lee Novak proved the difference as Huddersfield made it to the FA Cup fourth round for only the second time in 11 years with a 2-0 win over Dover. Novak raced to the bye-line on seven minutes and pulled the ball across the face of goal for Scott Arfield to tap in the opener, before latching on to a long ball down the right flank virtually straight from the restart and crossing for Gary Roberts to blast in at the far post. Town, who started well, seemed to sit back after that and nearly let the Blue Square South side back into it. Town skipper Peter Clarke blocked a goal-bound header from Olly Schulz on 24 minutes, and from the resulting corner Roberts had to clear off the line another Schulz header. The Whites, backed by an impressive 1,535 travelling fans, also went close when Town keeper Alex Smithies made a mess of dealing with a long ball. He raced off his line just before the break, but slipped, and only just recovered before 29-goal top scorer Adam Birchall pounced to tap in. Town had chances to extend their lead after the break. Roberts and Kevin Kilbane both had shots parried by keeper Ross Flitney. Dover rallied late on, with Birchall forcing Smithies into a good save. Smithies also did well when a shot from Harry Baker hit Huddersfield's Antony Kay and seemed destined for the net.
