Clark could shuffle pack Huddersfield manager Lee Clark will select his starting XI from an unchanged squad for the home clash with Bristol Rovers. Clark has no new injury or suspension troubles as his side look to bounce back from successive defeats which have seen the Terriers slip from top to eighth place in the table. Winger Gary Roberts has had his broken arm pinned this week and will be sidelined for at least six weeks but Scott Arfield overcame a bruised calf to to play the full 90 minutes in the midweek defeat at Rochdale and is expected to continue. Central defender Nathan Clarke is edging closer to his return to first-team action after damaging knee ligaments during the close season. The 26-year-old came through a 70-minute run-out with the reserves this week and is hoping to feature in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Peterborough on Tuesday. Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope has doubts over Gary Sawyer and Jeff Hughes. Defender Sawyer is struggling with knee and ankle problems both picked up in a strong challenge late on in Tuesday's disappointing 1-0 home defeat by Tranmere and will face a late fitness test. Midfielder Hughes took a heavy knock on his ankle in the same game and will be again given until the last minute to prove he can take part. If the pair fail to make it youngsters Wayne Brown and James Tunnicliffe will be battling out for their places along with Dominic Blizzard. The Pirates were unbeaten in four prior to their midweek defeat and will look to get back to winning ways against the Terriers, but will find it difficult as Town are unbeaten at home so far this season.

Last-gasp Hoskins stuns Terriers Bristol Rovers winger Will Hoskins sent 10-man Huddersfield crashing to a third straight league defeat as his stunning late 20-yard curler clinched a 1-0 win. Hoskins, signed from Watford in the summer, struck a rising drive into the top right corner in the final seconds of time added on. There was barely enough time for Huddersfield, who had Jamie McCombe sent off for picking up two yellow cards, to kick-off again. The Terriers, who dominated possession and created a stack of chances, were their own worst enemies in front of goal and have now failed to score in three consecutive games. Scott Arfield blazed over from inside the six-yard box in the 11th minute when the Rovers' defence failed to clear Anthony Pilkington's corner. Carey then wasted an even easier chance in the 55th minute when he volleyed over unmarked from close range after Pilkington had swung over a teasing cross. Huddersfield's frustration was complete when McCombe, booked in the first half for a foul on John Akinde, hauled down Hoskins and was given his marching orders by referee Karl Evans.
