Match Preview

Terriers at full strength Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson has the luxury of being able to name an unchanged side for the home game with Burnley. Grayson has no new injury or suspension problems as his side chase their first league win of the season. Town followed up an unlucky 1-0 defeat at Cardiff in their first match since winning promotion with a 1-1 home draw against Nottingham Forest in midweek and Grayson is not expected to make too many changes. Winger Danny Ward shook off an ankle injury in time for the midweek game and pressed his claim for a return to the starting line-up with a late role off the bench, while fellow substitute Scott Arfield may also have forced his way into Grayson's plans. Jordan Rhodes showed no ill-effects from the hamstring strain that kept him out at Cardiff by returning to grab the equaliser against Forest, and is expected to continue up front alongside Lee Novak. Burnley assistant manager Jason Tindall is hopeful Northern Ireland international forward Martin Paterson will be available. Paterson opened the scoring in last weekend's 2-0 derby triumph over Bolton but was ruled out as a precaution before Tuesday night's defeat at Middlesbrough due to tightness in his hamstrings. The 25-year-old saw his campaign last season ruined by severe thigh and hamstring complaints, something Tindall and boss Eddie Howe remain wary of. "Pato is feeling good and will be assessed and hopefully he will be okay," Tindall told the Clarets' official website. "If we feel it is right for Pato to be included and there is no risk in doing that then he will be. "If we feel he is only 95 percent fit then Pato won't be involved and we will err on the side of caution. Pato has had some unfortunate luck in the past with injuries that have kept him out for some time, but this just a niggle and certainly won't be long." Republic of Ireland winger Keith Treacy is back in training following a groin problem but the match is expected to come too soon for him, while striker Danny Ings (knee) is a long-term absentee.
