Imps wait on Watts Jamie Pitman has a couple of welcome selection dilemmas as Hereford play host to fellow strugglers Lincoln. The Hereford boss, nominated for January`s Manager of the Month accolade, has no new injury or suspension problems to contend with and welcomes back defender Joe Heath from a one-match suspension. Pitman kept a pretty settled side throughout January as the Bulls embarked on a five-match winning run but the loss of Heath led to two changes for Tuesday`s clash at Torquay - which United won 3-1 - to leave Pitman pondering whether to recall his services on Saturday. With Heath missing, Rob Purdie was recalled to fill in at left-back with Ryan Green on the opposite side of defence, pushing Richard Rose into midfield and relegating Nicky Featherstone to the bench. Lincoln boss Steve Tilson is hoping Adam Watts will be fit so he can name an unchanged team. Watts limped out of the victory at Bradford with a suspected hamstring problem. However, the injury is not as bad as initially feared and the defender could play at Edgar Street provided he passes a fitness test. Midfielder Clark Keltie is still struggling with the thigh strain that has ruled him out since the FA Cup win against Nuneaton on November 1. Also absent will be winger Mustapha Carayol, who has a hamstring problem that he sustained in the 4-3 win against Stockport last month. The futures of Ben Hutchinson and Cian Hughton have come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks and they are not expected to make the squad.

Facey extends Imps winning run Lincoln made it five wins in a row with a 1-0 triumph over Hereford, which ended their run of four straight victories in npower League Two. Delroy Facey scored their vital goal in the 28th minute when he rifled the ball into the net from 15 yards. Play went from end to end in the opening 25 minutes with Ashley Grimes twice shooting past the Hereford goalmouth with only Adam Bartlett to beat. Hereford's central defender Janos Kovacs also headed a corner from James McQuilkin over the Lincoln crossbar. Striker Stuart Fleetwood was also denied by Lincoln goalkeeper Trevor Carson before the deadlock was broken in the 28th minute. Grimes released the ball to Facey who rifled it past Bartlett into the net. Two minutes later midfielder Gavin McCallum went close to increasing the Imps' lead but his shot was blocked by Ryan Green on the six-yard line. After the break Hereford midfielder McQuilkin had on target shots blocked by defenders but then at the other end Bartlett turned a shot from Grimes away for a corner. Midfielder McCallum should have snapped up a second for Lincoln with eight minutes remaining but he failed to beat Bartlett from 10 yards.
