The ball falls kindly for Duff in the box but off-balance he can only turn the ball wide of the mark from eight yards. That was a half-chance to clinch the three points.

Damien Duff gets to the byline and fizzes the ball across the box with Dempsey arriving but the American cannot get his outstretched leg to the ball and the chance goes begging.

Hangeland is clearly suffering from a lack of fitness as he skews a clearance high into the air and brings more pressure onto his team. Fulham will be relieved as they clear the danger at the second time of asking.

Peter Crouch strikes a tremendous dipping volley from the edge of the box that looks destined for the bottom corner but Schwarzer makes a superb save and is up in time to block the follow up from Jenas.

There is so little in way of excitement in this game. Steve Bennett is featuring most in a scrappy game and again he blows for a foul as Crouch goes down under a challenge from Dempsey.

The changes from Harry Redknapp appear to have given Tottenham some life and they look capable of winning this one.

Peter Crouch flicks on a cross from wide and Jermaine Defoe latches on to the loose ball and hooks a volley goalbound from six yards but it goes just over the bar.

Bobby Zamora is starting to threaten. The ball comes into the box low and Zamora is able to bring it down and shoot for the corner but Gomes denies him a goal with a sensational save diving to his left.

Peter Crouch tries a long range effort in hope more than desperation but it sails high and wide of the mark to a rapture of jeers from the home fans.

Damien Duff takes the ball down the left hand flank in trademark fashion and crosses for Zamora who takes the shot on instinctively but can only find Gomes.

I apologise for the lack of update, but there really has been very little to say. Bobby Zamora crosses from the right hand side but with the lead striker delivering the ball there was no-one in the middle for the cross to find.

The game is lacking a spark. Both sides are struggling to find time on the ball to put together a dangerous attack and at this time it is difficult to see a winner.

Hangeland misplaces a pass straight to Jenas who then finds Keane in a dangerous position but the Irishman is wasteful again in the final third and many of the travelling fans will be wanting to see Defoe some time soon.

Tottenham are on the back foot again as Konchesky sends a long-throw into the box from the left hand side. Dawson heads clear as far as Baird, who looks to test Gomes but his shot is a tame one.

The Cottagers look to pick up where they left off as Chris Baird attempts a through ball looking for Gera down the right hand side but Kranjcar intercepts well.

Kranjcar looks to end the half with a spectacular long range effort but he can't keep the strike on target and it swings wide of the upright.

Good goalkeeping from the ever eratic Gomes as he races off his line to snuff out the danger after Murphy had slid the ball in behind Bassong for Zamora to run onto.

Tottenham are struggling to get their big players into the game and they could have gone behind as Zamora looks to lift a volley over Gomes but sends it over from the edge of the box.

Fulham are ending the half in control and Dempsey lifts a free-kick into the box, Gomes punches it out but only as far as Gera but he scuffs his shot well wide.

Dempsey takes on a thirty-yard free-kick and hits a ferocious shot towards the top corner but the ball canons back off the crossbar. What a strike!

Aaron Lennon races down the right hand side and crosses from the byline but he can only find the arms of Schwarzer to the disappointment of the visiting fans.

Robbie Keane works himself a space on the right hand side and manages to cross towards Crouch at the back-post but Aaron Hughes is well positioned to clear the danger.

Zamora is back on the field and slides the ball into the feet of Dempsey but the American drags his shot wide of the upright.

Zamora leaves the field for some treatment after a collision with Corluka and the Fulham players feel that the Croatian threw an elbow. Steve Bennett takes no action against the full-back.

Crouch fires the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box but the whistle had already gone for a free-kick to Spurs. Schwarzer had stopped but would of been nowhere near it.

Fulham are starting to press the visitors now and Duff delivers another corner from the left hand side but Palacios is there to clear the danger for Spurs once again.

The resulting corner is half-cleared by Dawson and Murphy looks to volley the ball back towards goal. The shot comes in with venom but Gomes rises to tip it over the top of the bar.

Duff brings the ball down the left hand side for Fulham and has time to pick out Gera coming off the opposite flank. Gera takes the shot on first time but Palacios is there to make the block.

A scrappy start at the Cottage with neither side capable of keeping onto the ball in midfield. Spurs win a corner and Kranjcar will deliver once again but Zamora clears at the front post.

Murphy catches Jenas as he looks to clear and concedes a free-kick on the left hand side. Kranjcar looks to deliver from wide but the cross is too close to Schwarzer and the Australian gathers with ease.

Spurs come forward down the right hand side and Corluka looks to pick out Crouch with a cross from deep but he can't find a team mate in the middle.
