I don't think there is going to be any late drama here, Everton look very tired after their midweek Uefa Cup antics and do not look like scoring at all.

Some of the Everton fans have decided enough is enough and are making their way to the exits.

Yet another chance for a second goal for Fulham, this time Eddie Johnson made himself useful and fired a shot not far over the bar. Good effort from the American striker.

Fulham have made a very reassuring performance in the second half and will need to continue playing like this for the rest of the season if they want to survive.

Fulham are keeping up the pressure on Everton and seem to be pushing for a second goal. Who said attack wasn't the best form of defence?

I don't think Craven Cottage could be any tenser. The home fans sense a much needed victory and it may just be around the corner if they can prevent Everton from scoring in the closing minutes.

On the other hand Kasey Keller has been excellent throughout the game, making many assuring takes of the ball and perhaps arguably keeping his side in the game.

Eddie Johnson has had a very poor game this afternoon and has no where near justified his three million pound transfer fee Fulham paid for him. Moments ago he was unchallenged and had time to place a shot but instead sent it about a mile over the bar

Joesph Yobo did well to deal with the high ball that got caught in the swirling wind and Eddie Johnson wasn't able to get on the end of the pass from Hangeland.

Fulham are taking their time with everything now and Roy Hodgson will be telling them not to get complacent with just fifteen minutes of the game remaining.

A very presentable opportunity for Eddie Johnson but the American snatched at the chance and fired a poor volley way over the crossbar. The goal has made the game a lot more open now.

A great chance for Everton to equalise immediately, Arteta's precise corner was met by a free header from Joseph Yobo who steered the ball just wide of the goal.

Everton have reacted well to the goal and hit Fulham straight on the counter attack with Hughes being forced to put the ball out for a corner.

A nice bit of football and some excellent interchanging from Everton between Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman, but Hibbert's powerful cross was claimed by Keller.

A good chance for Everton and Phil Neville to put the away side ahead, but Kasey Keller did well to rush off his line and block the shot with his rather large stature. Good defending from Fulham.

Fulham won only the second corner of the game which Bullard floated in, but Johnson's header at the back post flew way over the crossbar.

Both Fulham and their home crowd have lifted themselves. The noise level has risen here and Fulham are looking more promising going forward, this seems like the period of the game where Fulham must score.

Pienaar failed to win a free kick up one end which allowed Fulham to break on the counter attack. Eddie Johnson used his pace to burst past the wrong-footed Lescott and drive the ball across the face of the goal for Jagielka to knock out for a corner

Arteta's curling free kick just glanced the top of the wall and deflected off Steven Pienaar for a goal kick. What a waste from Everton.

The first yellow card of the game goes to Danny Murphy after his honest attempt to get the ball just caught Phil Neville from behind to give Everton a free kick in a dangerous position.

It's a good job Aaron Hughes managed to get his body in the way of Mikael Arteta's flying shot because it looked to be moving towards the bottom corner of the goal. It must of hurt him too.

Simon Davies tried a very audacious right footed volley from the left side of the penalty area but his effort went seemingly closer to the corner flag than the goal. Poor from Davies.

Leon Andreasen looks in some discomfort and is holding his arm after falling awkwardly from jumping for a header.

Joleon Lescott tries to claim for a penalty after it appeared he was nudged in the back by Brede Hangeland. There was no reaction from Steve Bennett though and the game carried on.

Danny Murphy commits a silly foul after a neat bit of footwork from Mikael Arteta, who was very quiet in the first half of the game.

A good chance goes begging for Everton as Yakubu did well to find five yards in front of him, burst into the space and let fly to a low drive which Kasey Keller did well to get down and save. Good play from Yakubu.

Everton have a good record away from this season with eight away wins since August.

Simon Davies failed to find a connection with Leon Andreasen as both players had different ideas in mind, Davies played a clever ball inside Lescott but Andreasen didn't quite see it and instead wanted the ball played out wide to his feet.

Everton won a free kick in a decent position with Brede Hangeland committing a needless foul on Pienaar. But Carlsey's cross into the area was poor and the ball floated out for a goal kick.

The rain is lashing down in West London and adding to the already drenched playing surface at Craven Cottage, making things a little tricky for the players out there.

Everton have been relatively creative in midfield but definately lack the presence of the injured Tim Cahill who apparently is only one week away from full fitness.

Some good persistance from Eddie Johnson to chase down Phil Jagielka and win a throw in right in the Everton corner. That's the sort of attitude that Fulham are going to need in their relegation battle if they are to have any chance of surviving.

Fulham have quietened down after their decent start to the game, they haven't really created a lot for their strikers but Johnson and McBride have both been relatively immobile so far.

Everton look to have eventually woken up now. This time it was Yakubu who moved past Brede Hangeland like a battering ram and fired a powerful shot at goal, only for Kasey Keller to get his body behind his effort and save comfortably.

Everton's first effort on goal came from Steven Pienaar, the little South African cut inside on his right foot and hit his shot off Leon Osman to deflect it wide for a goal kick.

A nice little fact for you. Fulham have conceded more goals at home this season than any other team in the league, leading the way with 26 goals.

Everton have moved Phil Neville into midfield and substitute Tony Hibbert has slotted in a right back after the forced change for Johnson.

The word from the Everton camp is that Andy Johnson has a slight groin strain.

Fulham's three million pound signing Eddie Johnson from Kansas City Wizards looks very rusty up front and has yet to put a good touch on the ball.

The pitch has got a lot of zip on it here at Craven Cottage, I know theres been quite a bit of rain but the playing surface looks in top condition.

Fulham put together some good interchanging passes and forced Phil Neville to concede a thrown in deep in his own half, a little bit of pressure on Everton here early on.

A sloppy start to the game, with neither side being able to keep sustained possession of the ball. Fulham's Brian McBride looks up for todays game though, wearing the skippers arm band the American looks set for a battle with Phil Jagielka.

Fulham had the chance to break early on with Eddie Johnson using his pace to burst forward, but his poor pass to Jimmy Bullard allowed Everton to regain possession easily.

David Moyes names an unchanged side to face Fulham, Tim Cahill remains sidelined with a hip injury and the Everton boss names 17 year old defender Jack Rodwell on the substitutes bench.

Brian McBride is recalled to the Fulham starting line-up in place of Clint Dempsey and instead partners fellow country man Eddie Johnson up front. Other than that Fulham remain unchanged from the game against Blackburn last weekend.
