Match Preview

Loons suffer Bishop ban blow Forfar are without suspended defender Jamie Bishop as they look to complete a home double over league leaders Livingston. However the versatile Iain Campbell has recovered from the knock he took at East Fife last weekend and is included. Midfielder Paul Watson is unavailable through work commitments as the Loons aim to repeat their 1-0 success of last October. Stand-in Station Park boss Ian Campbell said: "We are really looking forward to the game although it will be a tough contest. "Livingston are a good side, the strongest in the league and are topping the table very much on merit. In saying that, we won the last time we played here and have targeted getting three points from this game as well." Livingston will have midfielder Keaghan Jacobs back in their squad. Jacobs is back to full fitness but centre-back Cameron MacDonald and winger Bobby Barr are both ruled out with knocks. Lions boss Gary Bollan said: "Having been in the Third Division with Forfar last season it would be fair to say that both sides know each other really well. "It is always a close game between the sides and they never make it east for you especially on their own turf. "We have got ourselves into a really good position in the league and we cannot afford to slacken off now. Forfar will want to bounce back after losing to East Fife last Saturday and that makes them even more dangerous opponents."

Match Report

Livi maintain advantage with win Livingston maintained their 16-point lead over Ayr at the top of the Second Division with a comfortable 4-0 win at Forfar. Kenny Deuchar headed the Lions in front from Liam Fox`s right-wing cross in the 23rd minute, before Fox doubled the advantage himself. The 27-year-old midfielder latched onto Iain Russell`s lay-off before calmly firing the ball over Forfar goalkeeper Scott Gallacher and into the roof of the net from just inside the penalty area on the stroke of half-time. The league leaders started the second half much the same as they ended the first, and Deuchar netted his second of the afternoon in the 57th minute with a composed finish from 12 yards before Russell wrapped up the points just three minutes later.
