Match Preview
Fotheringham set to start Forfar's Martyn Fotheringham could start against Dumbarton after scoring twice when he came off the bench against Arbroath at the weekend in a disappointing 4-2 defeat for the Loons. Michael Bolochoweckyj is a doubt, with Station Park boss Dick Campbell looking for his men to bounce back. He said: "We were flying after beating Stenhousemuir and Cowdenbeath last month but we have slipped back with a draw against Stirling and then losing to Arbroath. "I believe we can still climb the table and have a good season but this is the type of game that we need to win to do that. "Dumbarton are on a good run just now but beating them would show that Forfar mean business about moving up the table." Midfielder Kevin Nicoll is available after a ban, while everyone else in the Dumbarton squad is available to manager Alan Adamson. A win at Station Park would make it five wins in a row for the Sons and move them into third spot in the table. Adamson said: "Going to Forfar on a Tuesday night is a really difficult game and probably as difficult as they get. "They will be hurting after losing to Arbroath at the weekend so that makes them even more dangerous opponents. "A win would lift us into third place which is a great place to be as we go into a really crucial part of the season."

Match Report
Forfar hold Sons Struggling Forfar battled to earn a point in a 1-1 draw with play-off contenders Dumbarton at Station Park. The hosts took the lead after 30 minutes, Dale Hilson finishing from close range after his initial shot was parried by Stephen Grindlay. But Bryan Prunty's long-range strike levelled things up for the visitors a minute before the break. Chances were at a premium in the second half but the visitors were denied all three points in the closing stages when Mark Gilhaney's effort was tipped behind by Mark McCallum. McCallum had already been the difference on the hour mark, making two good stops from consecutive set-pieces. The Loons had a chance of victory themselves after 75 minutes but Bradley Coyne's effort was well saved by the feet of Grindlay.
