Hamer set for Exeter start
Goalkeeper Ben Hamer is in line to make his debut for Exeter against Walsall after signing on loan from Reading for three months.
The 23-year-old joined from the npower Championship club this week following a series of spells at Brentford.
His arrival could signal the end of Paul Jones' long stint at St James's Park, with boss Paul Tisdale confirming the stopper has declared his desire to leave in search of first-team opportunities.
Midfielder Ryan Harley has agreed to join Swansea and will miss out against Walsall, but will remain at the club until the end of the season as part of the deal.
Richard Taundry is likely to be in contention as Walsall manager Dean Smith looks to celebrate his full-time appointment with a much-needed victory.
The midfielder failed a fitness test on his ankle injury prior to last weekend`s 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Huddersfield, but he is set to be available this time around as the Saddlers look to end a five-match winless streak.
The signs of progress have been evident under Smith during his three-game stint as caretaker boss, and he was rewarded on Friday morning with the reins until the end of the season.
Smith bolstered his squad with the loan signing of Matt Gill from Norwich and with clearance from the Football League and the Football Association, is in contention to feature against his former club.
Goalkeeper Jimmy Walker overcame his hamstring complaint to make the bench against the Terriers and will continue to press current incumbent David Bevan for the number one jersey.
Winger Steve Jones has signed a season-long loan deal with Motherwell and so will not be available
On-loan full-back Ryan McGivern has this week been recalled by parent club Manchester City, although he had not started a match for the Saddlers since early November.

Jamie Cureton missed a great chance to put Exeter two up when he blasted wide of the far post, while Walsall's Richard Taundry side-footed a golden opportunity wide at the start of the second half.
Former Exeter captain Matt Gill forced Ben Hamer into a smart save with a point-blank header before Daniel Nardiello made it 2-0 after 77 minutes when he tucked the ball into the corner after a quickly taken free-kick by Noble.
Nardiello missed a penalty after John O'Flynn had been fouled in the box by Aaron Lescott, before Walsall pulled a goal back five minutes from time when Julian Gray scrambled the ball in at the back post.
